      Date of service February 9, 2023. Took my 2009 Ford Ranger pick-up truck to Line-X of Dayton to get evaluated for small crack in rear passenger side & expanding to the side wall of "sprayed bedliner" (this product purchased from them 07/2018 for $587.43). This product came w/ a "Nationwide Limited Lifetime Spray On Truck Bedliner Warranty" to the original purchaser (which is myself), when applied to original factory finish, not to crack, bubble or flake. Line-X could not provide me a "warranty guarantee " untill they removed the affected area of sprayed bedliner to investigate the cause of the crack. Line-X removed entire bedliner & was deemed by them that the crack was due to a re-painted truck bed that was not original factory finish. I do not believe this is true and now I have rust & peeled paint from tearing out. Line-X quoted me $1,200.00 to repair the bed & replace sprayed bedliner of my truck with NO warranty. Also was told the rust may not be fixable due to sanding down and causing holes. So, not only do I have rust & paint damage to my truck bed due to the removal, but I no longer have any of my product that I purchased in 2018 for $587.43. This is my dispute that it is indeed a crack and should be covered under warranty; therefore, Line-X of Dayton should replace with a new sprayed bedliner free of charge. Pictures of new product installed (2018) & after removal (02/2023) , warranty, original sprayed bedliner receipt will be included in this complaint.
