    The Lifting Lab is the literal bees knees. ?? This isnt your cookie cutter basic gym and it really knows it. The quality all around is impeccable. To start, youre greeted by the best receptionist/bouncer ever (Co-Owner Oskee the Lab) for snuggles, encouragement, and a little slobber. The trainers and staff are incredibly helpful, approachable, and more than willing to help you achieve your goals. (And help you find new goals you didnt even know you wanted). The level of care, passion and professionalism is unmatched. You dont need to be a gym human to feel like you belong. Members are just as friendly and helpful and you really feel like you deserve to take up space. (And you really do ??)The space? Oh ****** Theres so dang much. ???? From dumbbells, to barbells, to rowing machines, to cardio machines (of multiple types!); the options are endless and theres always more being added. The equipment is really well taken care of and theres never a time that Ive been there that I feel like Im being crowded or waiting on someone to get off equipment. Theres so many options for machines that I am still learning more and more each session. Being female focused as a gym was really important for me when I was doing research. I have a cocktail of hormone issues, autoimmune and chronic illnesses so I needed somewhere that could help me figure out my body to work with me and not against me. And this, this is the place for that. I feel safe, supported, and really really strong. They host classes and I cannot wait to check those out! As a member theyre included in my package and its the coolest perk. Not a gym human but want to be? Hire one of their personal trainers! Its a literal GAME CHANGER. Need your own personal hype human?! Theyve got you. Its literally the best investment in my health and fertility journey that Ive made. So schedule a tour, and join the coolest place ever. You will not regret it. ??

    **** is the sweetest woman! The gym is so well maintained and everyone that goes there is lovely! If there is ever a problem **** responds quickly and fairly. Truly a safe haven for women in fitness.

    They do not care about their members. For a gym that prides them selves on putting women first they have failed to listen to women who are reporting emotional abuse from their husbands, also members of the gym. If fact, they side with the husband and the mistress. They care about money and making themselves look better. The owner took an emotional standing and realized she messed up so instead of actually correcting the situation she chose to revoke my access when I did nothing wrong and with no actual reasoning besides from the people that I had complained to her about. They pride themselves on being inclusive and supportive and when I came to her for support in a personal matter, involving the gym, she got emotional and then when she realized she messed up she failed to notify me my access was revoked, failed to give an actual reason, and then still charged me for a gym membership I was not able to use. The communication is nonexistent and they obviously do not care about the members. She took my situation, made it bigger, and then punished me for her actions. She unbanned another party after saying that they broke the code of conduct the same way she is saying I did. And then unbanned them and banned me over false allegations. And then never notified me.

    I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with the gym. However, in this review you have failed to mention the substantial legal and work related documentation we received from the other parties involved reporting you of harassment of those parties as well as failing to mention your lack of documentation provided to our business. 

    Our owner does empathize with your situation truly as she was also cheated on by her ex-husband and it is truly an awful feeling but the unfavorable actions of one towards another does not allow for the one wronged to meet that with more unfavorable actions. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind and that is not something as a business we will ever condone. 

    The gym does have a strict code of conduct. However, this code of conduct (without legal documentation and evidence) cannot be enforced outside of the facilities walls.

    It is truly unfortunate that you did not receive our original message regarding your membership revocation and equally as unfortunate that our system is slow to process automated payment cancellations. It is part of the reason we are switching systems in the future. 

    We also informed you we would not share member or non-member information as you are not a member any more. This is not something that will be changed nor discussed on here either. We do this for all members and non-members to protect their privacy as a courtesy because their business is their own and we should not be pulled into private matters that do not involve the gym. 

    Regardless, due to your continued harassment of the owner, the decision stands that you are no longer a member of the gym and your membership fee has been refunded. This decision will not be up for discussion and is final. 

    We would like to inform you that you should be careful not to continue to harass the gym, its owner, its staff, and its members. Your behavior in all of this has been the literal definition of harassment of the owner and the business. You had to be blocked on all social medias of the gym and its owner's personal accounts because you engaged in harassment of all avenues as well as engaging in libel, slander, and defamation of the business and the owner herself. We have saved all documentation of such and if this continues we will be forced to send a cease and desist and consider taking legal action.

    Again, we are sorry for your situation, but this decision is final. We wish you the best in your continued fitness journey at another facility.

    **** and her team are outstanding! The Lifting Lab is a great, non judgemental place to work on your fitness. It is clean and has terrific equipment. Billing is easy and always timely as per our agreement. Personally, **** has helped me with a significant knee issue and it has improved immensely in strength and pain elimination. **** is a skilled trainer and a wonderful person. Five stars from me!

    Love this gym so much! It's relaxing, clean, has lots of equipment, staff is friendly, and is a gym I actually want to go to and workout in! It's definitely the best gym in Findlay!
