The store decided to close down early due to another team member leaving early (the story we were told), which is completely fine, except for the fact that they left online ordering open. So, when I paid for my order and went to get it five minutes later, there was nothing there. Everything was cleaned and shut down, lights were off. The gentleman who was still there, was not helpful at all. Initially ignored my child for 10 minutes while he tried to retrieve our order, which made me more upset than anything. He knew he messed up and his first thought was to just avoid it. He said he already threw everything away and already shut down the register so there was nothing he could do. He didn't even attempt to resolve the issue. He was also cussing--clearly upset because he just wanted to leave and we were preventing that. It was 7 pm and he had been there since 8 in the morning. He was also mad because he said he was not properly trained to be left alone but that they made him do it anyway. I do agree, he was not properly trained to be left alone. I've been going back and forth with Auntie Anne's Facebook and the store's GM, ******. After 10 days, I still do not have a refund for items never received. They expected me to accept a "free pretzel and drink" in place of expected refund. I already technically paid for it, making the items not free and not a gift. It would have been a nice gesture had I gotten the refund, but that's not what is happening and a replacement order is not what I want. I am disabled, so getting to the mall is challenging. And quite frankly, after being treated this way, I'm not sure we'll ever be back, free or not. Which is sad, because my entire family really enjoyed coming here. Why is it so difficult to get a refund? Please just give me my money back. I've given the necessary information to several people several times and it's been almost two weeks.
