I enrolled in Get-a-Job's placement program on August 1, 2023, paying $3000. Promised job placement within 90 days or a full refund, along with H1B sponsorship opportunities,I received no assistance or training and no job within the timeframe. Despite attempts to resolve the issue, Dash Technology's coercive tactics led to accepting a partial refund.I am not going to accept their offer since they misled me many ways and wasted my time and money . Fake offer letters and scam interviews further highlight the deception. The bank's rejection of the dispute amplifies the urgency for BBB intervention to address fraudulent practices and secure justice to me .Business Response

Hello *******
I would like to inform you that as per discussed with the team, we have invested time for your profile and even diligently offered various services such as applications, interviews, interview support, and other resources to assist you in securing a suitable position. However, despite our dedicated efforts, we have not been able to yield the desired results and you would like to exit from the job program voluntarily and we respect your decision. However we are still open to provide you the services without any other cost until you land the job.
Regrettably, despite having successfully conducted numerous interviews, unforeseen circumstances compel us to take the following course of action. As per the services given your profile does not eligible for refund however as per our discussion with my team we can refund the $1000Customer Answer

Complaint: 21433231
I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for your response. However, I would like to express my deep disappointment with your proposed resolution. With respect to your claims, I trusted and investing time with efforts in my profile. However, the services rendered by Get-a-Job have fallen far short of the promised standards.
While you mention conducting numerous interviews and providing support, it's crucial to highlight the quality of these services and consider the fact that the interviews scheduled by Get-a-Job turned out to be scams, and the offer letters received were fraudulent. This not only undermines the credibility of your organization but also puts vulnerable individuals, like myself, at risk.
In addition to this, I demand immediate explanations for these fraudulent activities. You must promptly justify the fraudulent offer letters and calls attached as they directly impacted my trust and confidence in your services.
Below is the information which needs justification regarding Fraudulent activities and offer letters:
1) Lead Stack INC issued a fraudulent offer letter and attempted to scam me by requesting money via cheque under the guise of work asset delivery. The interview process was unorthodox, conducted on Discord instead of conventional platforms, with interviews conducted through chat rather than voice or video, Initially sending offer letter in informal way instead of pdf they gave image format and rest of the entire scam activities are attached in ****************** * ***************** * *** *** ******** ************* * ***** ***********
2) Rialtes Technologies sent a scam offer letter signed by '***** *****,' a non-existent manager, confirmed as fake through LinkedIn. Evidence includes LinkedIn conversations, the fraudulent offer letter, and email exchanges. They also attempted to deceive with false work assets as included in Attachement in * *************** **************** ***************** ******* ************ *** ******* ****** ******.docx ].
3) Also few other scam interviews followed a consistent pattern: "sharing a word document with questions", "requesting answers," and then issuing fraudulent offer letters or emails.
Furthermore, I want to clarify that I did not voluntarily terminate my service. The agreement was for job placement within 90 days, but you have already wasted seven months without delivering on your promise. Therefore, it is unreasonable to expect me to consider my decision to discontinue the service as voluntary. Your organization's failure to fulfill its obligations within the specified timeframe constitutes a breach of contract and justifies my demand for a full refund.
Moreover, your assertion that my profile does not qualify for a full refund is both unjust and unacceptable. As an international student, the past seven months have been incredibly challenging, with my expectations shattered and my trust betrayed. Your failure to fulfill the agreed-upon terms within the stipulated timeframe of 90 days has resulted in significant financial loss and emotional distress.
I firmly reject your offer of a partial refund of $1000. Instead, I demand a full refund of the $3000 I paid upfront. Anything less would be a disservice to the countless students who have been similarly misled and exploited by your organization.
It is imperative that you prioritize fair treatment for all clients. Justice must prevail, and I firmly believe that seeking resolution through BBB is the most effective course of action to ensure fairness and accountability.
Regards,

My name is ***** ****** ******. I enrolled in Get-a-Job’s placement program in January 2023. When initial conversation started to take place with ****** *****, Get-a-Job’s sales supervisor, I was given some details on how this program will work as such I will be landing in a job within 90 days. Furthermore, during these 90 days, I was told I will be receiving 10 to 15 interviews every month starting from the date when my marketing begins. However, Get-a-Job misled me with respect to their contract as the package they offered me was ULTRA ELITE PLAN. According to this plan, Get-a-Job was supposed to get me job/employment within 90 working days, however, Get-a-Job misled me by changing the duration from 90 to 120 days. They did it without even discussing with me or informing me. Get-a-Job also started my marketing after two months of starting the contract which was by the last week of March 2023. During the period of 120 working days, I only had 3 to 4 interview calls and a revoked offer letter from a company. I was completely frustrated with this situation and talked with my personal recruiter ***** ***** over and over again about this. Along with this, I contacted ****** ***** and *****, my sales supervisors, but nothing changed. They kept saying this is due to the bad market, which is somewhat understandable, but within 4 months only 3-4 interview calls and a revoked offer from a company did not help me in anyway as it was promised by Get-a-Job to get me an employment. This overall was very upsetting and unacceptable. At last, after a lot of struggle and completely losing hope, I requested a refund. As a result, my services from Get-a-Job’s side ended stating that “there was a delay in accepting the offer from the company”, however, I had accepted the offer within time, but the company revoked it. I have attached the screenshots showing all revoked offer letter, LinkedIn conversation where it shows I was in contact with the offering company’s HR. As a result of my request for the refund, my services from Get-a-Job’s side ended by the end of July 2023. My Google voice number used for marketing was taken down, my marketing email ID that has all the information in it was taken down; and I was left with nothing. Seeing this, I contacted their customer service and they only replied to two of my emails saying that they will not continue their services due to the reason that I did not accept the offer from the company so they will discontinue services for me. However, the offer was revoked by the company itself which had nothing to do with me. I then asked for the refund from them because they did not get me any jobs neither they provided with the services as promised and mentioned in their contract as well. They kept silent, no response at all. I then had to contact my credit card company, ******** for the refund after waiting for almost a week for Get-a-Job’s response. At this point, Get-a-Job broke its silence and replied to the email saying that “since I disputed the amount now Bank will recover for me” and then they immediately closed the ticket. After this, I contacted Get-a-Job twice and requested them for the refund as at this point, I was also ready to compromise on the amount, if not full $4000 amount they were willing to refund then they could atleast refund $3000 to me. I was very much frustrated with back and forth communication with almost every member of their team/company that I thought something would be better than nothing and told them to refund atleast $3000 if not full amount of $4000. After months of much struggle, I got a reply to my email from one of the officials ******* ***** from the company, saying that I will not get any refund at all from the $4,000 initial upfront payment that I had paid to the company. They closed the ticket for one more time out of the third time I had contacted their customer service. Here, I was on the losing end completely because I paid the amount of $4,000, didn’t get a job as promised, and also lost all my amount. I am seriously very upset with the company’s service and would like to have a full refund from the company. I request that you guys take immediate action on this. I’m also providing a screenshot from my agreement with Get-a-job, which states all information and also additional information via documents attached. I am highlighting all my concerns here and hoping for a quick response in order to get full refund of $4000. 1. Firstly, Get-a-Job charged this amount of $4000 that they said is for training which is nowhere mentioned in the contract. 2. No one shared with me any exit policies during my term with Get-a-job in the beginning. 3. Delayed marketing process, which cost me 5 months. 4. Finally, after investing all those months and waiting patiently, I am still without a job. Results were not as promised before and during the enrollment. 5. They misled me with the duration of the contract from 90 to 120 working days. This overall situation caused a lot of tension; mental stress due to financial difficulties on my end just because of this company’s fraud that I suffered. Furthermore, it led to affect my reputation when it comes to credit card payments where I had given the company $4000 which included almost my savings and I was left with not enough amount to pay back to my credit card company the month installments even.Business Response

I have paid 8000$ initially to this company to market my profile in US job market and get a Job. Bit after 9 month only my employer fired me because this company give me wrong documents. I asked them to give me correct documents, for that documents they again asked me for 3000$ more. But still my employer fired me.
