    On 12/6 2022 I took my 2013 Kia Sorento to ****** **** for diagnosis on a bad oil leak from the engine. He called me back and said it was definitely coming from the Oil Filter Adaptor Gasket and he could fix it and it would not cost very much. Two days went by and he called me to say he was going to ruin my day. He said he tried to fix it but could not do so with no clear explanation. He said I would have to replace the engine and it was going to cost me $7000.00. When I picked the car up he charged me $326.77. I gave him cash and asked for a receipt. He said his printer was down and he would email it right away. When I drove it the 3 miles to get home it was pouring oil out even worse. I called him back in a couple hours and told him the leak was even worse and he said that's because it was now leaking water as well! I went back out and checked it out, sure enough it had poured a large amount of water out too. I called him back because he had not sent the receipt yet, so he he sent it. It didn't look right, and I asked for a new one but he never gave me one. So he didn't fix anything and he actually made it worse by making it leak water too. I wish I had not given him any money but he had my key. When I called him back to ask him what was actually wrong with my engine he used the F word several times and hung up. I hope my complaint gets highly publicized so other people become aware and do not take their cars to him. I am so disappointed, and right before Christmas too.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I carefully reviewed our records and this is what I found. When the car was brought in, we told him the car needed more work and would cost more than it was worth. We tried to expain he would probably not be happy even after work was performed. We adjusted the bill to give him the best discount we could. We did not charge him for the oil $50, anti-freeze $50, or parts $100. We try to help eveyone who walks in the door, and we feel badly that we could not make him happy. If you have any questions, please let me know.
