    They made me leave the 1 star (I put 0) I went by their reputation and the BBB rating and the fact that my grandfather had been a customer of theirs long ago,!in making the decision to have my 2005 VW BEETLE’s clutch repaired.I felt very strongly that I was making the right decision and that it would be a good thing. Boy did I miss the mark on that one. I was counting on the reputation from the past, and I guess times have changed and I should’ve understood that the employees who are there now obviously are not the same as those from 59 years ago and nothing is as it was then. Back then they were super methodical about how they did things and would not have let what happened to my car be done. Okay now for some of the things that happened: Just be warned that the new clutch and transmission bolts were not re-assembled properly to the point that within a few days the drivers side axle wheel bearing hub and tie rod were totally destroyed. J & B ‘s answer to what happened was to blame it on lack of proper maintenance on my part. Well I showed them that the entire front end suspension was replaced in September (the clutch work was done in late November). I had submitted multiple pages in response to all of the ways they tried to get away with not fixing the clutch properly… let alone breaking a part in the process of fixing the clutch and charging it to me, They also had received authorization for repairs and didn’t do them, and didn’t tell me they weren’t done. (I assumed they were done by the amount of money I had been charged in comparison with the last time I had the same problem fixed on another VW Beetle of similar age. I had to finally dispute the charges with the company and show my credit card company that they were negligent in the repair process as well as to answer their response to the dispute and the credit card company ruled in our favor. I could go on for days! But we only have 2000 characters to give you a small glimpse at what you need to miss
