The intake specialist did not properly take my vitals. She was supposed to have me lift my sleeve to properly take blood pressure. She put the cuff over my sleeve which allowed for improper intake therefore I was deferred for the day.

In 35 years of not only donating plasma but also being involved with the plasma collection Industry , I have never seen nor experienced more blatant disregard for state and local health and safety regulations but the plasma collection staff were the rudest, non-caring and unprofessional to the point of complete disregard for the donor. One bad experiance can happen to anyone but in every instance rules and protocols are completely ignored. There should be one collection staff per no more than 6 donors to maintain, supervise and assist in the process to help the donors through the process. In every experiance not only was there not an employee watching his/her donors but the employees were actually cleaning and stocking inventory. Several donors waited up to 20 minutes with a "dry" needle still in their arm before someone would finally be bothered enough to acknowledge the donor and assist them. I personally asked for help as several workers went back and forth doing nothing close to their supposed jobs as plasma collection agentsand yet I lay there with a stagnant machine for an hour. I went as far as to call the center from my cell phone as I lay there to try and get help. I was told there were employees there that could help me if I asked and she hung up. I am taking it up on myself to share not only the audio I recorded but the video of these people who should never be in the field of customer related business. I don't have the words to express how badly the Dayton Ohio location is ran and the donors are so disregarded. I will not stop until I see the supervisory staff answer for their disregard of the people who keep them in business.
