      We have used Siebenthaler's for 10 years to care for our trees. They have great expertise and have always given us solid advice. During the emerald ash borer invasion, they helped us save three of our green ash trees which are doing great today. We go to them for any tree-related issues and questions. Their Beavercreek location has an enormous selection of trees and people available to help you make the right choice.

      I was shocked by the horrible service I received, if not racial discrimination, as well the prices were so high and the manager (??) who helped me was so rude; her name was Laurie and she was so hostile, as though I was stupid or didn't understand English though I am a first-generation Congolese born in Ohio. The prices are too high and I don't know how they have so much business, as their Customer Service is pathetic. I tried to pet the cat, and the woman behind the register yelled at me; why is the cat there, if not for affection? And after this, I just put the products down; I didn't want to give such heartless people my money. The woman, Laurie, should be ashamed of herself at her level of poor service and the way she interacted with me. Had I been a white American, I am sure I would have been treated differently. I have told everyone I know about the experience I had and hope to spread the word about the bad energy generating from this "locally-owned" and "family-operating" business which is just a front for their cheapness, pretentiousness, and overall bad attitude.

      Gloire, I'm sorry for your experience. I'm not sure we will be able to come to an agreement based on your comments since Laurie is one of the kindest people I have ever met and doesn't have a shred of rudeness or racism in her. I assure you race had no part of any treatment you received. Our prices are not cheap, but are reasonable. I don't know that I can retain you as a customer, but would at least welcome you back for another attempt. And if that's not a possibility, I wish you the best of luck in your gardening endeavors and a nice life.

      I have been buying plants from here for years. Both outdoor and indoor. My husband and I dropped in recently and purchased a new house plant after a loss. We purchased a Ginseng house plant ($29.99) (bonsai). I meticulously care for all my houseplants and every house plant I have purchased from here is well cared for. The plant began drying out and losing leaves about a week after purchase. I continually cared for it for another week , hoping it would revive. I googled root rot and figured I had a bad plant. I visited the store today to exchange for a new plant. The woman or manger was rude and accusatory. She immediately accused me of not watering the plant. This is a tacky and chintzy way to run a business. I drove 15 minutes to the store in hopes of just getting a new plant. She was so tacky, she said, “I’ll go halfsies with you.” I have never seen such tacky management. I will never be shopping here again. This is not the way a local company treats customers. They are desperate & their short term gains on turning away repeat customers will not bode well for their business.

      Sold unhealthy plants. Acted like they would honor warranty. I sent pictures. No longer will respond to email or return phone calls. Do not trust this company.

      Tresa, as per my last few emails(9/19)- "Tresa, I sent 2 emails on 8/8 asking you to forward the pictures you had sent previously since I searched and found no evidence of those emails. If you are sending emails with pictures, try sending fewer at a time because they are not coming through. I also searched for your phone number and have not received any texts from the number below. I'm sorry you are frustrated, but I can't respond properly if emails/texts don't reach me. I should have pretty open office hours this week and should be able to respond quickly to any communications I receive." I just left a voicemail saying the same thing. I can't help you if you don't reply back.

      Hi Tresa, just following up to see if you would revise this negative review since it was based on a technical issue/emails we never received. I the issue was resolved last year. It may not seem like much to you, but a 1 star review means a lot to me.
