    Hangar 6 Inc ordered a horizontal stabilizer for a Cessna A185F. Dayton Freight was selected to handle the shipping from ****************************** **************************** to ******************** in **********************************. Dayton freight arrived on site at ************ on Friday 10/07/2022. Upon inspecting the Horizontal Stabilizer it was damaged beyond repair. The stabilizer's Skin's (outermost layer) were torn and punctured. The damage resembles forks from a fork lift. The left and right canted ribs sustained damage's as well rendering them in operable. As well as bending a hinge that is pertinent to attaching the horizontal stabilizer to the elevator control surface. We were instructed to file a claim to Dayton Freight, by Dayton Freight on Monday 10/10/2022. The claim was acknowledged by Dayton Freight on Thursday 10/13/2022. Since that date, the only communication we receive is that, the claim under review. It has been 31 days since the acknowledgement of the claim. There are no other Cessna A185F Horizontal Stabilizers to replace the one that has been damaged. Were looking to resolve this issue in a timely manner, with a full refund.
