    Paid for a 2 hr rental for four kayaks, confirmed rental times and number of kayaks via text. Arrived and was told there were no kayaks available until a later time because a large group went out late. I paid for my time in advance and the money had already been withdrawn from my account. If the large group was late that should have been their problem not mine! The later time did not work for our group so we left with three disappointed kids and $128 wasted. Horrible experience and the apology offered was insincere and she could have absolutely cared less. Extremely unprofessional and will not respond to messages or calls, refund has not been issued.

    In response to complaint ID#: ********. On July 16, a group of Girls Scouts had reserved for a group of 13 people from 11-Noon which was the maximum number of kayaks we have available. The ****** family had 4 kayaks rented for 12-2pm. The Scouts did not return until 12:30 after a late start. The ******** were advised that the group should be returning soon.  A refund and apology was offered and they also were advised that a refund may take a couple days as my tech person was out of town for a wedding. All rentals are done online via our website. The ******** choose to leave at 12:15. Refund was processed July 17 at 4:14pm.

    Being a retired educator providing a service to families, not sure how this could have been handled any differently. Mrs. ****** was extremely agitated and not understanding of the situation whatsoever and Mr. ****** called me very unprofessional. If only patience would have preserved they would have been in kayaks in 15 minutes.
