    Had our windshield replaced in our motorhome at ***** collision. They use Discount Auto Glass to replace the windshield. After the installation, ***** complained to D.A.G. about the sloppy installation, specificly the sloppynest of the windshield sealant. ***** sent me pics of the installation and I was very disappointed. I stopped in at D.A.G. and spoke to *******, showed him pics of the install and he told me that's how they do it and that's how the factory does it. I told him I was not satisfied and wanted them to fix it. I even showed him pics of the original factory windshied and he said he couldn't tell. He told me that's how it's done. The sealant was globbed on in the corners and on the paint and not enough in areas, and not smoothed out. The finished install was very sloppy, not like it was done by professionals.

    To Whom It May Concern, 

    Discount Auto Glass did windshield replacement at ***** Collision on the motorhome with glass being provided by 3rd party. We do not guaranty anything if not installing our glass. This is not regular automotive glass and in this case our technician did explain that it's impossible to match outside sealant job as RV factory does it with special machine when bus is getting build by them from the beginning . On most vehicles extra molding is installed on top of the sealant to cover all imperfections. This case is different and RV factory does not provide or install any trim moldings on this particular motorhome which makes it impossible to match their sealant job which is done by the special machine.
