On November 23 *****, Abdikhadar ******* leased a 2020 ****** corolla from Spectrum Motor 1. He put $5000 due at lease signing and agreed to make bi-weekly payments. Two days after taking the vehicle he was in an accident. He came to the office on several occasions where we discussed switching him into a different vehicle. We have been trying to work with him since he did not have ************* and by not pursuing him for the money still owed on the corolla that was not covered by the insurance.
Recently he picked a Chevrolet Malibu and when we went through the numbers he put a $400 deposit and wanted to come back the next day. When he returned he changed his mind again and we refunded him the $400.
By law he is liable for the remaining amount owed on the corolla that he wrecked.

Im filing this complaint to the BBB as Im highly disappointed in the car that I received. The first car that I received which was a ******* 2015 sonata there was issues with car shaking real bad when accelerating above 35mph, when mentioning this the lady ******** stated this only happens when the air/heat is turned on which was totally incorrect. First day leaving the windshield wiper control hook came off and I asked for it to be replaced. It never was when brought back in it was rigged and part was never purchased. The insurance was also extreme high on the vehicle due to theft rates. Also insurance also stated the car was a rebuild. Due to these issues my insurance constantly lapsed as i was paying more than the note on the vehicle. I advised them Of this burden and the car was switched out to a 2016 **** fusion on 4/12. There seemed to be no issue with this car until a week later my 5 yr old son and I were driving I did some errands and the car just stopped. I had to get it jumped it then would start however was jerking remainder of day. I went back to the dealer a week later advised of issue stated it must be battery or other issue but the ***************** stated it was a key issue. And they were gonna get a locksmith to fix the key. Long story short it was never a key issue. I had to purchase a new battery also get an oil change. Which was told to me would get done during an audit. Not sure why the car needed to be brought back to the dealer for an audit. That was odd in itself. However, that wasnt the only issue the car kept losing gas and engine light came on so I got a mechanic to take a look and a series of other issues came up. Essentially on 5/1/24. I returned the vehicle as it was unsafe for me to drive and causing me to lose hours at work and Ive been without a vehicle since. Not sure if the car got fixed , I want all my funds back at this point as it has created a hardship for my kids and I. And I have no way to work Uber is expensive.

********************* leased a 2015 ******* Sonata from Spectrum Motor 1 on February 22,2024. During the time she had this vehicle her insurance lapsed multiple times due to non payment because she said the payments were high. She kept reinstating her policy with **** until she came in on April 12,2024 to switch to the 2016 **** Fusion were she switched to Progressive Insurance.
At the time of the 2015 ******* Sonata D-******************* was informed that it was a rebuilt title and even signed paperwork stating she understood. While she had the 15 ******* Sonata she did bring the vehicle into the shop to have fixed the windshield wiper issue she was having and have the shaking addressed. After the visit there were no further complaints about the vehicle. Once she switched into the *********************************************** to be looked over and her concerns addressed. With regards to the 16 **** Fusion she could not make the remaining due at signing on time and we granted her an extension to help her out ($500 due on 4/27 & 5/11 we allowed her to make the on 5/4 & 5/18 instead), but she still did not make those payments. When she dropped the 16 **** Fusion off at the lot on May 6, 2024 she said she just needed time to figure out what shes doing, either coming up with her payment or switching vehicles again. Then we received notification from our bank of a chargeback for the full $4000 paid at lease signing; customer is intentionally trying to scam us by trying to forcefully get the money back that was received in a legally binding contract and signed in numerous places that it is non-refundable.

I am rejecting this response because: I have proof that I brought the vehicle in to be checked and was advised it was a key issue, i also have text messages of me stating these issue as it ended up being a battery and a few other issues which I sent a picture of and was told they offer a discount for these issues to be fixed and to always reach out to ****** for any car issues. It was never rectified which is why it was returned

This is defamation of my character as I would never try to scam a company out of money. If anything I was scammed and the matter was not rectified whatsoever to scam a car that practically a lemon is highly outrageous and its unprofessional on the business end to say as such. ******** was aware of me starting a new job prior to returning the vehicle also clear communication was given when advised about the issues with the car. The fact that I had to even service the oil change on my own as well as purchase a battery and then still

advise about all the other issues the car has and it still wasnt rectified. I will say that ******** was the only one who tried to work with me and i do appreciate that but as stated I dont want to get into a vehicle that needs to be fixed Im a single mother of 3 and a college student at that I need reliable means of transportation. I feel at this point being reimbursed for all these issues suffice I stated this within a week of having the ******** There is text communication for all of this as well so its nothing thats coming left field. Please handle this situation amicably. I have been without a vehicle for two months and its not ok to do good customers this way. The system only allows me to attach 5 attachments however I have additional documents to include in this case

****** ***** came into the dealership and leased a 2011 Toyota Camry. At the time the customer was told the camry would need a fuel pump and she would receive a loaner vehicle until the camry was finished. We are actively working on the Camry to make sure the customer gets the vehicle and is happy with the results. The lease contract clearly states that there are no refunds.

I am rejecting this response because:
The company took over 30days to fix the Camry when I told them I was taking them to court to get my money back due to I didn’t trust them and it took to long for them to supposedly fix the Camry and the loaner car was unsafe

This is the furthest from the truth.  We not only put the customer in a loaner vehicle 2 different times, the first one she somehow got the vehicle shot up with bullets.  The other was impounded.  We actually had to call the police on this customer for tresspassing and causing a scene at our dealership.  There may be a small issue here with mental illness.  We have gone above and beyond to help this customer.  We can not control her personal issues.  We have repaired her vehicle and placed her in her intital car.  Please close this case. She has her repaired vehicle.
