      In the process of moving I purchased a storage unit with unit number *** on 12/14/2023 from Storage Express located at *** ********* ** ********* **** ****** There was an issue that stopped me from being able to lock the unit so I called storage express again and told them about this issue. They switched me over to unit number ***. I ran out of room and needed another storage unit so I called Storage Express again to purchase another unit. I spoke with ***** by phone at Storage Express and assisted me with purchasing unit number *** on 12/17/2023. I have proof of both purchases being made with mine and my wife’s bank accounts. With my belongings and furniture inside both units *** and *** I began making payments monthly. With the stress of moving and many other things I did not check to make sure that I received documents from Storage Express of my purchase for unit *** like ***** assured me that I would receive. I went to check on both my storage units on 4/16/2024 and found that *** did not have the lock that I have the keys to and was empty! I also seen that unit *** no longer had the lock that I have the keys to and it now had a combination lock. I called Storage express because there was no employee on the premises to speak with. I spoke with a gentleman first who hung up on when I asked for the combination lock number. Then I called back and spoke with a woman who told me that there was nothing on file showing proof of purchase for unit *** but only for unit ***. I asked her to transfer me to her manager and I was transferred to ****, the Call center supervisor who told me the same thing, that the items that were in unit *** were auctioned and they called me before the auction took place, I never received a call. They did not check the cameras, phone call history, phone recordings, payment history or do enough due diligence on their end to investigate and check to make sure they knew who the stuff belonged to in unit ***. I was told lies and stolen from.
