1 starI am giving this company a 1 star. Ive been dealing with the same unresolved issue since 2022, and Ive reached my limit with the lack of transparency and accountability from this company.Despite having a clean history with on-time payments, no outstanding balance, and previously being approved for spending power, my account has been continuously and automatically denied by AI with no explanationand no way to appeal or speak to someone with actual authority. Every time I apply or follow up, Im told someone will contact me to explain the decision. That has never happened. Not once.Instead, Im pushed around by generic responses and chatbots or agents reading from scripts who clearly dont have access to any real answers. Its insulting at this point. Ive followed every rule, been a responsible customer, and given this company plenty of chances to make it rightbut they continue to hide behind automated decisions and empty promises of ************ writing this review because my emails are being ignored, and this is the only way left for me to hopefully get the attention of someone who can actually resolve this issue. Im not looking for excusesIm asking for transparency, accountability, and a real person to contact me with a real solution.Review fromJaydn P

1 starI used klarna to purchase some jeans from *****. The package ended up being delivered at the wrong house so I contacted Levis and they issued me a refund. They said it could take up to a week so I waited. Once I saw nothing has gone through klarna I reached out to them and they told me they havent received anything and to reach out to Levis. Once I contacted Levis again I sent klarna proof of the conversation, the email proving they issued a refund, and a screenshot from my account saying I was already issued a refund. Even with all that proof, Klarna still refused to give me a refund, and kept adding late fees. I have been going back and fourth since November of last year showing the same proof over and over and they still refuse to give me a refund. They said they see ***** has issued a refund for my order but they sent my debt to collections. Here we are in April and I have to contact collections to dispute it because klarna refuses to issue me a refund even though they admitted to seeing ***** already did it. 1 starThis company financed my ticket sales for a concert and I received a bill to my email used for the purchase and was told my bill was paid off then when I went out of town for a family emergency they changed me again. When I contacted the company a escalation agent was very rude and didn't acknowledge the staff's statement of it being paid off nor the bill that I had showing a different balance. They claimed later they sent a different amount I didn't agree to for higher to a email I never used instead of the email used for the purchase. This caused me a financial hardship and couldn't pay a important bill causing a ripple effect for me financially, will never use this finance company ever again!Review fromShy T

1 starKlarna has a glitch with their system in which they send you a text about payments due. Upon logging into the app to make the payment, the due date says a different day. However, they punish you for making a late payment but you are given two different payment dates. How am I to know which is accurate? I spoke to someone months ago and they told me to ignore the text messages. So, I pay attention to the app due dates. Apparently, the app due date is wrong. I am told that it has been escalated but, no plans of recourse or action.Review fromWhittley H

1 starThis is ******** ***. I have been trying to get Klarna to resolve my issues . I am highly upset and I am sick of calling them and no resolution. I had an outstanding finance balance of $362.90 on my klarna account. I finally paid it off on June 25, 2024 . Klarna is playing a lot of games with me and I see why they don't care about their customers because they aren't even *********************************************** . I wish I knew that before I joined. That balance thay I said has been the balance for a few years before I was able to pay it off which was last year. How in the world is it that I owe another $369.11 when that was the amount for years ? I have spoken to multiple CSR and some would tell me that it showed paid off on their end and that will escalate it . Some would say that I owe $369. 11 and that I needed to show proof of my payment from my bank . How is that when I sent a screenshot from the klarna app itself to show that I paid ? I paid $80 towards the balance that was showing on it now and no deduction has been made to the balance. It is still at a stand still . So where did my $80 go ? Klarna is very disrespectful and unprofessional . They are liars . I an tired of the run around. I still have yet to get my $80 refund , and I want my klarna account updated . I was told that it *** paid off . All of a sudden I owe more money ? No im not feeling this . Why am I getting mixed information? I am tired and I demand a resolution. You guys just don't play around with people money like that. Train your CSR right so that everybody is on the same page and customers aren't getting different answers . I was told that I was going to get a email on April 3rd stating that my account was resolved. Nothing. I don't know what kind of scam this is but you guys better give me my $80 back and update ny account to paid off so that I can unsubscribe from you guys. 1 starThis is another negligent firm that has no business in the financial sector, especially in the ***. Today we received a ******* email, and those should be banned in all matters. No company in the *** should be allowed to send ******* emails to anyone. Also, we were going to purchase a 2100 dollar items, and decided to use Klarna. We went through all the steps and then a payment plan (NO INTEREST) popped up with 500 dollar payments. That was the final outcome at the checkout point, connected to our bank card. We then deposited the money to cover the first payment, and hit "send" then Klarna totally recalculated the entire purchase, after we had already been approved for this plan, and stated they wanted a 1300 dollar payment "due to the vendor". The entire things was ridiculous and we just ditched the idea of using klarna at all. Today, a month later, we get one of their NOREPLY messages stating something about us having too high of a balance with Klarna, and thus their decision. Of course, we have no idea what they are even referring to, we have no purchased anything with klarna, and have no payments due to klarna, and have not purchased anything with klarna at all. it was ridiculous, and the company is just run by robots. ***** this firm. It is just an annoyance and heaven forbid you needed to file a claim for a purchase! For example, if the item does not arrive? I am sure trying to file a claim with this firm will be impossible. 1 starI went on the on the Klarna app, searched their listed merchants, ** made a purchase on Feb 20 from a company named ******. Klarna accepted the contract then sent the money to a company named ********. It has been a month, I have received anything from the company I order from, not even a response email. Their phone number is disconnected, and Klarna is not doing anything but trying to take money from me. I sent Klarna the screen shots I have and the fraud companies are still listed in their app with the products they never ship. I tried reaching out to the company Klarna sent the payments too and they wont respond either. I am now getting a lawyer because Klarna is charging me 700 for a steam deck I never received. They opened a investigation a month ago now and nothing. I will NEVER use Klarna again. Buyer beware.Review fromMike M

1 starKlarna gave me a credit of $900., when I tried to use The credit a few times it wouldnt go through so then I added $55 of my own money to the Klarna balance and tried to make a purchasewith the money that I had just added and then I couldnt even make a purchase then I contacted customer service 3 to 5 times. They great to try to help but then they didnt resolve the problem any other times and they still cut my $55. It sits there and wont refundme my money. Im just saying just because they offer you a credit of a certain amount of money doesnt mean theyre gonna give it to you. It seemslike its a little fraudulent to me a little sketchy so look into this before you accept it so now Im out $55 of my own that they wont refund me they act like they dont understand what Im trying to say I will be fine a complaint against Klarna for this situationReview fromBeth J

1 starI filed a dispute through Klarna regarding the company, ******** Hair! I ordered a wig from EverGlow, and paid for my order using Klarna! When ******** mailed me a knitted hat instead of the $200 wig that I ordered, immediately filed a dispute with Klarna and sent them pictures for evidence! After weeks of waiting, Klarna denied my dispute, and wants to continue payment for a product that I did not receive! Klarna made absolutely no attempt to protect me as a consumer!Review fromRamsey K

1 starRun far from this company. I am in the credit card processing business and tried this out to see if we wanted to offer it as a product. This is a total scam. I ordered a travel bag and set up 4 payments over 6 weeks or so. The merchant I ordered the bag from never responded, sent a confirmation, nor tracking info. I had paid for expedited shipping so when a few days passed and I had no info I tried to reach out fo find the issue. The only communication I was from Klarna so I contacted them. They said I had to provide confirmation number and tracking. Well the only confirmation I had was from them and they said that didnt count. They claim they have no contact for the merchant? They send them money but they have no way to contact??? We all know that is BS. I have asked them to cancel and they refuse until I provide them the info they requested, which again doesnt exist. At this point they are just taking my money and I have no product coming. They know this and are still billing me, basically saying "sorry, thats tough luck". Stay away from this scam.
