      On December the 12th, I was coming back from my hearing aid appointment that was at the ********************* with Mrs. ****** On the way back, we stopped at Lev's **** Shop on ********* and I have it written down but I can't get to it without me remembering it. So I already gave you the date, you'll have to look at that date. And so then I saw the wall door, it says on there, repair jewelry. The lady that was with me, I had her to go inside and ask them to come out to talk to me about repairing the jewelry I was wearing. So Mr. ***** I think his last name may be ****** when I spoke to him, I asked **** if He was Jewish, because that was important to me, because I know a lot about the Jewish nation, because that's what I've been teaching over the several years. So when **** came out, I showed him both hands. So when he spoke about my wedding rings first, because I wanted a diamond and a place that empty, he gave me a price of $75 for just the diamond. Then I asked him about the connection to the diamond, to the other ring that was with the diamond, which would have been my mother's wedding ring that we had raised up by another juror at another place there. So those two rings were together and so he would just have to make sure they would bind.

      Well, when he did do that, he made the ring too large to the point it saw falling off of my finger. So when it came to the other two rings, which was an anniversary ring of our 65th anniversary, I had my children's mother ring attached to it properly, except it was a metal connection that was gray looking and ugly looking. and I asked him, can you make sure that I get a nice clean one fixed together? He didn't question anything. He said it would be $45. Then we negotiated. I said, why are you telling me $45 here and you tell me $25 to the wedding rings? I said, that don't make sense. Then he compromised and says, all right, then I'll just charge you $25, which that's where he came up with the other price. So those two together, so all together that was a hundred dollars put together with what he's supposed to have done.

      Okay, then when I didn't get the mother's ring back on, I called to the Levs and they told me to go to option one To who I was supposed to speak to so the first ****** I spoke to was **** ** **** said where we can search on cameras and then he would get back with me About that. So when he got back with me, he said they couldn't find nothing Then he said you can come back In fact, he told me come back three different times at different visits every time I came back So already there was no truth in what he said there. So the lady that was with me, when we saw that he could repair the jewelry, she heard most of the conversation that I don't think she would be shy enough to share what she heard.

      Okay, then from there, it's always been a battle, keep coming back for those camera shots. Okay, then he gave me a man named Silver who was supposed to do the work. Well I could not understand his accent, and then I told him I could not understand. So he tried to dispute with me that he never saw the mother's ring. He said that when I see stuff like that, they usually throw those mother rings away. When he made a statement like that, I said, well, you have mine somewhere there, so they supposed to let me see cameras, but they did not let me see them after going there back three different times. So that tells you something about their integrity there.

      So that's all I can tell you at this point, except each time I try to call back, they're always putting up a delay, delay, delay. Nothing's been resolved.

      I am sorry we are having this issue.  As I have told you from the beginning.  I have no recollection of ever seeing this mothers ring that you keep referring to.  Our repair tag shows that you gave us 2 rings with the instructions to replace a missing diamond in one and to make the other a size 8.  There is no mention of a third ring and there would be no reason for us to take a ring that we were not going to work on.  The jewelers notes on the repair envelope indicates there were only 2 rings.  Our cameras are a little unclear but seem to only show two rings.  I have searched the shop and our scrap file and there is no mothers ring. I don't believe you gave it us.

      If you want to come in and find something close to what you are looking for, I can sell you at cost.

      This is ***** *****, ************. I got a BB email. I don't understand it. Someone's going to have to help me to comprehend what this means. So you'll have to call me to find out what you want me to do with this email. I looked for a print button. I could not print it out. So I need some help.

      There was no way I could print this whole thing out from BBB, but ******** told me to tell you that you're going to take the place of Mr. ****** in continuing this complaint, And the complaint number was ********* Other than that, if you need to talk to me, my number is ************* I'd rather talk to you instead of trying to do the things that we did orally, because orally everything says done, did not need to do anything else. That's why it's hard for me to know how to get this BBB trying to print it out. because I wasn't able to do that. So again, ***** *****, please call me ************ that you're taking the place of Mr. ******* Thank you. God bless you. What do I do? Just hang up? Don't we have nothing?

      On May 5, 2024 I purchased dj equipment from Lev's Pawn Shop located at 1912 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33020. I asked the sales person if he could connect the dj unit to make sure it was operational. He informed me that he could not because they did not have an Ipad in the store to connect it to, but he assured me that it was working properly because it was brand new and in its original box. After I purchased it, I realized the unit needed an adapter to be connected to the Ipad. I ordered the adapter from amazon and it didn't arrive until May 10, 2024. Once I connected the unit using the adapter it did not play or read the Ipad connection. Once I discovered that it did not work, I attempted to return the unit. I spoke to a person who said she was the owner (Susie) and explained the situation and she replied that all sales are final. I explained to her that the sales person emphatically stated that the unit was working because it was brand new and had never been used. Susie said all sales are final and went as far as to insinuate that I had used and broken the unit. I showed her the receipt of purchase and the receipt from amazon for the adapter and the date in which it arrived, but she was insistent that I destroyed the unit. As a reputable business you would think that the Lev's Pawn Shop would ensure that the products it sells are functional and if the products aren't would provide the customer with a refund or replacement.

      To state the true facts of this incident, this gentleman responded to an Offer Up ad for a Brand New in the Box Numark DJ Turntable.  The sales associate ******, not the Store Manager *****, encouraged the customer to test the item before purchasing it even though the item was in fact new in the original packaging and did so several times. The customer rejected all suggestions to test the item and customer also observed and acknowledged the fact that this item was brand new and said it would not be a problem.  The customer returned 10 days later after the purchase date and requested a full refund claiming the item was defective and not working. The store Manager ***** pointed out that as stated on the Sales Receipt and Clearly Displayed for all Business Patrons there to see is a Sign "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" and 10 days had passed since the item was purchased.  At this the point the customer made threats at the store associates and said he promises that he will make us pay for it if we do not refund him his money. At this point, the customer abandoned the product in the store and stormed out saying he will make us pay because we don't know who we are messing with. The following day the Store Associate ****** tested the product and found out it was in working condition.

      I am rejecting this response because: once again ***** and ******* has completely fabricated a false narrative and blatantly lied. I was never told to examine before I purchased said product, they said they had no way of testing product. He assured me that it worked because it was new and in its original packaging box. I never threatened anyone those accusations are false and frivolous.

      Subject: Re: complant #******* Levs Pawn ShopI tried to redeem my pawn from Levs pawn shop 785 East Hudson st C0lumbus, Ohio, 43211, Phone # *********** on October 12, 2022 and was told that my pawns were stolen a, month ago, and i can choose something at the Main st store to replace them., if i pay storage and interest. the tennis bracelet was given to my wife by her mother and cannot be replaced and my ring , i bought FROM Levs pawn shop, and have the receipt. i will except the amount i payed for it minus storage and interest, but the tennis bracelet cannot be replaced, i will accept the following,Tennis bracelet is 14k white gold 15.30 grams and 60 x .02 diamonds total $1500 -$295 storage and interest =$1205 i will exceptRing is 14k white gold 6.60 grams with 10 x .05 diamonds, i payed Levs pawn shop $369 for it. minus $165 storage and interest = $204I will settle for $1205 + $204 = $1409I will settle for $1409 for my stolen property,Thank you,

      We are sincerely sorry that your pledged property was stolen.  Thieves made entry to our building by knocking a hole through a cinderblock exterior wall.  Although we can not replace the sentimental value attached to your items, we can attempt to replace the items with like items that we might have in our inventory.  

      The Ohio Pawnbroker statute states the following:

      In the event that any articles or property pledged are lost or rendered inoperable due to negligence of the licensee, the licensee shall replace the articles or property with identical articles or property, except that if the licensee cannot reasonably obtain identical articles or property, the licensee shall replace the articles or property with like articles or property.

      Your pawn tickets provide a detailed description of your pledged property.  If you would be willing to come to either of our large main street locations we will try to replace your items with something of equal quality.

      Again we are sorry that this happened.

      August 15th 2022 I was contacted by the police department telling me an alert was made on my stolen gun that was reported back in November 2021 in a robbery and that the gun was recovered at Levs on Mt Vernon Ave. the pawn shop illegally purchased a stolen gun without thoroughly running the serial number and allowed a person to walk away Scott free. Then have the audacity to tell ME, THE VICTIM I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT BACK!! I want my belongings back and they need reviewed for breaking the law and accepting and receiving Stolen property.

      The pawn shop acted legally and with good faith when we purchased the hand gun  The seller had done business with us in the past and signed a statement certifying that they were the rightful owner of the property.  We obtained Id information and accurately reported the information to the police.  That is how the police where able to identify it.   Now the police have an individual who they can investigate and potentially charge regarding your robbery.   You don't seem to care that our business now becomes a victim by not being reimbursed for the money that they used to purchase the gun.   The pawn acted legally, ethically in this transaction and is entitled to be reimbursed in this situation.

      We are willing to return to the property to you at no charge.  You will however have to pass the federal background check, which we will also conduct at no charge
