As a residential and commercial facilities manager, Breck’s is one of the worst paving experiences I have ever come across. They showed up unannounced to do work after they were repeatedly told we have vehicles in drive, scattered job spoils and debris across freshly graded contraction site, unplugged our Rv without notice, failing to plug it back in causing a loss of hundreds of dollars in groceries and paved a drive that is an inch to inch’s and a half in several areas of high traffic. It took 43 days of prime growing season to get them to clean up the mess on the lawn and now, despite the unsettled losses, Breck’s has the nerve to ask for full payment on a incomplete/ poorly executed contract.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/28/2024

After the initial prep work for the project was completed, the Complainant immediately notified the Salesperson that gravel had been placed on a future landscaping mound. Unfortunately, the Salesperson neglected to promptly schedule the clean-up of the gravel within a reasonable time. This inaction was compounded when the RV was unplugged during the paving process to allow for equipment access to the project area. The RV was not plugged back in, which caused groceries within the RV to spoil. A representative from Breck’s Paving has been in communication with the Complainant and both parties were able to reach an amicable resolution for this complaint.
