I put my vehicle in for service under warranty for a noise that I kept hearing on the interior of my XTS sedan. The sound turned out to be the garage door fob vibrating against the driver's sun visor. They service department kept my car for 2 days before calling and saying I could pick it up. They found nothing wrong with it but switched parts on the interior of the vehicle. It was the panels that separate the front/back doors on both sides of the car. At first, I was very upset but I was scared to say anything because I was afraid they'd do something worse if I complained so I just lived with it.

Germain was asked to repair my Cadillacs driver assist system; I left Germain the first time only to return my Cadillac a second time because the car stalled in the middle of the street; the car battery did not have a full charge, in addition, I had to pay towing fees. The third time after departing Germain my car's HVAC unit wasn't and still isn't working; now I have no AC. I had paid for several diagnostic tests because it's required each time of service or Germain wasn't going to render any service to my Cadillac. The back-and-forth waste of time was a very expensive experience I will never forget.

Absolute TERRIBLE customer service in which they pride themselves so much on. I have been a customer for over 5 years and will never be again. Nothing but lies and cover ups on their own mistakes! They don't mind being threatened with lawyers and all that because essentially they seem no harm. Once upon a time, I was taken care of, but as the loyal customer we EXPECT to always be taken care of, even in the bad times, like when your engine "blows" under their support and supervision ??

I took my 2012 SRX for them to perform a recall issued by Cadillac Corp. When I dropped off my Caddy it had no warning lites on and ran great. I got a call from the service representative saying his technician said I needed to some transmission hose/pipes replaced and it would cost me $728. I told him I had no leak spots in my garage and my oil change people never mentioned it. I gave them the ok. What would you do? They called and said the recall was complete and I could pick it up. The service representative pulled it up and when I got it I see alarms lit up. I ask him whats with the warning lites? He had no idea and said I can drive it home and bring it back in the morning. I returned the car for them to fix and then got a call saying it will cost me $1000 to replace a sensor wire. In the recall it actually mentions a possible warning lite call by the recall item. I call **** the main Service Manager and complained about what was happening. He said that it wasnt anything they did but could give me $200 off the repair. I told him it came to him with nothing wrong and now they want to give it back to me after $1600 with nothing wrong. I told him BULLSH-T I was calling Cadillac and he said fine. I also was calling 6 on your side and the BBB, he said fine. I refused to take my car until its fixed and my money be returned. Im a 71 year old retired man and Germain Cadillac service it trying to s**** me over!

Both concerns that the customer is referring to are unrelated to the recall performed. If the lights that were on the dash were related to the recall, they would be taken care of in full by Cadillac. The initial concern regarding the leaks was found during the inspection, the second concern arose after the service was completed and our Service Manager informed the customer that he could supply him with the report showing that. Due to the inconvenience of the situation, we can cover all of the labor of the repair and the customer will only be responsible for the part which would be $283.30 plus tax or if he prefers to source his own part, we can install it at no cost. If he wishes to discuss the situation further, he is more than welcome to contact our Service Manager **** at his convenience.
