First and foremost they have been working on my water heater and gas line for over 3 weeks and still are not done. Secondly, I have been told I've been extremely over charged. EXTREMELY.Third, they don't know what they're doing. They've used the wrong pipes. They got the city to inspect the pipes for the gas and **** says they never should have.. it should have been them.

Bassett formerly ***** which has been my ************ since 2014 when I had a new York Furnace installed I became a member of the ********** which was $19.50/month $234/year. This membership does come with exclusive benefits that I found useful until Bassett took over. #1 problem is "accounting" sometime in May when they transferred the benefit plan fees to Bassett which is $18/mo. I was billed $19.50 on May 15 & $18 on May 22. Jan - April 2024 was $19.50/mo under the Bassett name. I just checked my credit card statement and it appears I have a duplicate charge of $18 on October 2 & 15th. On October 18 I had a dose of "Fountain of Youth" system service call. The service tech identified that my 10 yr old furnace which is out of warranty needs a control **************** I am not impressed with your pricing. The "bandaid" estimate for 2 parts was $1300-$1600 or I could buy a new furnace for the price of $9000-$12000.I went online and ordered 2 genuine replacements parts (control **************** for a total of $267 shipped. Needless to say I believe in saving money. I do not care about your warranties, club savings, etc. It pays to be disloyal to a company rather than loyal to save money. Your pricing is outrageous and greedy. Do better!!

Very unprofessional and caused damage to my property. Took a chunk out of the trim in my newly renovated dining room. Trampled dirt all over my new carpet in the basement and throw rug in my laundry room. They damaged the corner of an antique dresser in my basement. They were laughing and farting while installing the new furnace. Very unprofessional and disgusting and dirty!

On 9/23/22, ***** Heating & Air installed a new furnace & air unit in my home. In 2023, ***** checked the air unit to make sure it was operating properly, at that time I agreed to to pay (a one time fee) for inspections on my new units. In August 2024, I was contacted by Bassett Services to perform the inspection of my units. I was never informed prior to this that ***** had sold out to Bassett Services, however I was under the understanding that my inspections would be free, so i set up appointments with Bassett for the inspects. On 8/30/2024, a Bassett technician arrived and completed the inspection of my air unit. The technician advised that he observed a bio/film on the coil and drain of air conditioner, and attempted to sell me a Halo UV unit to take care of this problem. The cost estimate was approximately $7,600.00, which I declined. On 08/15/24, my credit card was billed $216.00 by Bassett. I attempted to reach the billing at Bassett for four days, and after numerous phones calls and conversations, I was finally able to speak with "*******" the membership coordinator. She informed me that I had signed a membership plan with ***** which was transferred over to Bassett when they bought out Drake. I told her I did not authorize any withdraws with Bassett, and did not want them making any further withdraws on my credit card, She refused to reimburse my account. I explained how the technician had conducted an inspection of my new unit only to find the so called bio film, and wanted to sell me UV lights to solve this problem at a cost of $7,600.00. I informed her I believed this was a scam, stating they were scamming people out of money and they knew it. She asked if I wished to have the service agreement terminated, which I agreed, that I did not want any more services from their company. Please do your research on this company before hiring them for heating & air services. Sincerely, **** ***** Brookville, Ohio

We hired a company to do our water pipes as they were broke. They did the job but quoted us way less than what it actually cost. ****** to take a payment plan before work started . After we handed them $10,000. After *** was done they refused payment plan and said it would go on our credit. Fast forward 2 years this company Bassett buys out the company and now are suing us for the remainder of the bill. First off it was put on our credit . Second this company isn't even the one who did the job.

June 14, 2024, Bassett Plumbing ( out of Indianapolis, Indiana ) sent a technician to analyze why my ceiling was water soaked. He gave estimate to replace my toilet & cut out pipe. My appointment was scheduled for June 20, 2024 . 2 hours before the expired time I get a call, “ we have no technician to come to your house today. You need to reschedule. I again make another appointment for June 24, 2024. I called @ 8:00 am and verify that I am on the schedule. “ yes, Ms. Day, your technician is on his way .” TWO HOURS LATER, I call & say, “ I am verifying that the plumber is still coming. AND, I am now told, “ Your appointment is cancelled. Your technician no longer works for BASSETT plumbing !!!! “ I say, “ WHAT ? No longer works there & I need to schedule a 3rd. time ? U must be joking !” I am told, “ Ma’am, don’t raise your voice.” Heck, no, I will NOT reschedule a third time. Supervisor calls me later & says, “ We will give u 10 % discount & reschedule for next Thursday. “ l said, “ No, after all the aggravation, getting a new toilet should be free labor. Thank goodness , I never prepaid $ 2,225. 00 for a replace toilet . I just called the Cincinnati, Ohio , headquarters & asked for a manager & was put on hold for 10 minutes & hung up .

We used **** ******** (now Bassett) a year ago for a water heater replacement, and had a good experience. This is our 1st time using them since becoming Bassett. We hired them for a simple drain clearing and were charged over $300. I thought that was very high and questioned the technician about it, but reluctantly moved forward with it due to need. The following day, I see on their website that they advertise a drain clearing and camera inspection only costs $79. I have since called 4 times in 11 days, and have yet to receive a call back. Each customer service representative is helpful and doing all that they can to escalate my concern, but management will not call me back. Terrible customer service, and I am incredibly disappointed in this experience. When I originally called, I was not upset, just wanting to resolve the payment. I am not reaching a point of significant frustration at managements lack of response at all to a repeat customer.
