    Date if service September 8th I had and appointment for curly cut and color. The stylist put bright blonde highlights in my hair without asking. I had told her I had pictures but she never asked to see them. I told her that I was not happy with my hair. She said that the color I wanted could not be achieved. She tried to tone it down and when I left the salon it looked to be fine however when I arrived home and in natural lighting I could clearly see that parts of underneath my hair in the back were not toned properly and were bright blonde and I also have some hot roots. I was very concerned because this means that is the color my hair will be when the toner washes out which she said would take about 6 weeks. I immediately contacted her through her instagram page that says it is a business chat and is where she posts pictures of her work. She never replied so I texted ***** at the salon who my appointment was supposed to be with originally until she called off that day. ***** (salon manager) responded the next day but was more concerned about me contacting the stylist through her instagram page. She acknowledge that when she talked to the stylist that there was miscommunication but that she thought everything was fine when I left. She said she could squeeze me in that next week for another toner. The problem is that the toner she put on was fresh and would take a few weeks to fade out and that is when I would be left with entirely bright blonde hair. At that time the only bright blonde was underneath my hair in the back and in the crown so it was hidden but is a precursor for what was to come. My concern was what it would look like in a few weeks and I had a big trip coming up in November and I asked to have new toner applied at a later date. Putting toner on now would not solve the problem and I could not get off work to go get the service in the timeframe I was given. She said if I came in later that would be a new service and I would be charged. People just can't rearrange a work schedule whenever they want and I feel ***** was not accommodating at all and she even cancelled my appointment that I had scheduled in January and basically told me not to come back because I told her I felt like my concerns were not being acknowledge. That was a very unprofessional thing for her to do I am requesting to be refunded half (168.33) of what I paid so that I can use that to receive toner elsewhere.
