      On Tuesday, October 10th I scheduled a hair appointment with **** for Saturday, October 21st at 9:25. I paid a $25 deposit at the time of booking. The stylist texted me on Friday, October 13th asking me to move it to the 20th. I was unavailable that day, so we rescheduled for Monday October 16th at 5:00. On Monday at 4:15 **** texted me saying that saying that she'll be at the appointment at 5:30 instead. Pushing the appointment back would have caused another conflict, so I requested to cancel and ask for a refund. She stated that I could not get a refund on my deposit because it was a same day cancellation. I explained to her that she, moved my appointment from the original time and then pushed my appointment back 30 minutes without warning or consulting with me first, so I should be entitled to a refund. She refused.

      At 4:34 on October 16th the client called me saying the new time wouldn’t work. I informed the client I was at the location and indeed would be able to do her hair at the original time of 5pm. After explaining I was at location she made excuses as to why she left at 4:30 from parking lot she couldn’t turn around to make her 5pm appointment. 

      Client continued to yell & berate me whilst I remained silent, the appointment was for her daughter. I sent the text as a warning I was concerned I would be late. I ended up there early. 

      Unfortunately this was via phone call. After I hung up client decided to text me that she would come to the shop without her daughter. And call me out my name. At which point I blocked her.

      Deposit would have been refunded if 

      1. I indeed was late. Again I was at location ready to service her daughter. 

      2. I wasn’t spoken to with profanities.

      fortunately a $25 deposit will not ruin my day
