    ***** C In 2018 we contacted Generac to inquire about having a stand-by generac install a our home. Generac referred National Power Systems, which is now known as United Power Company. The owner who installed our generac does not return calls/text nor comes to service our generac when called. On June 14, 2022 we had a severe power outage which caused our generac to run for a long period of time. Due to the generac running so long around 2:00am we were awaken by an alert that we had carbon monoxide poisoning. The next day we contacted Generac that sent someone from ********************* who informed us that our Generac was improperly installed (it should be 5 feet from all windows and doors, which ours wasnt). Apparently the carbon monoxide poising was coming through our basement window. We contacted the owner of United Power Company to inform him of our situation and he said he would rectify the problem (relocate the generac). It is now one month later and United Power Company is not returning our calls or text.
