March of 2022, I paid $375 to Midwest Maintenance to fit my dishwasher correctly under my counter top. The initial equipment left the dishwasher hanging by 2 hinges and a board underneath that was screwed to my baseboards, Dan the president reassured me that the dishwasher fitting should be sufficient. June came around and the brackets that held the dishwasher had stripped through the wood attached to my counter and the dishwasher was back to rocking back and forth. I called the maintenance office for weeks, only to speak with Dan who promised he would get someone out but did not. After waiting for couple of weeks I went to the office, where Dan promised to have someone come Thursday at 8:30am. Thursday the tech came at 9:30am without a call. While the tech was present I let him know that I felt more comfortable having someone speak with him and explain what I was saying because I may misunderstand what he was stating. Soon after the tech refused to continue and left. The same day I had to go back to the office and speak with the chief operator who provided no apology. It acknowledged that there must have been some sort of miscommunication. He followed up with yet another appointment to fix the dishwasher which is scheduled for a later date. Due to the amount of frustration and continued efforts to get the company to fix my dishwasher properly, only to have the same issue. I believe it is ethical to request my money back. The company has been at my home 3 times now, and the dishwasher has yet to be fixed properly. I’m currently my dishwasher is hanging with the screws out, from the most recent tech just walking out. The company is extremely difficult to work with and I have had to put in a lot of time to have a simple paid request completed I. The proper manner. I don’t feel the company will be honest on the future and will try and get away with whatever they tell me unless I have someone present who knows right from wrong. I would rather have my money returned.
