Technician called to see if he could arrive earlier than expected, which was great. His name was Joe M. Very friendly and professional. Listened carefully to what was needed and what I wanted done and then explained how he would complete the task to match what I wanted. My experience with Precision Garage Door Service has been wonderful! Precision Garage Door Service installed NEW garage doors for me a few years ago. There was a small issue. Before I had a chance to call Precision Garage Door Service. Precision Garage Door Service called me and returned to my home within hours to resolve the issue. I then had another provider/her name is Angie, install my door openers a few years later. It was not a good experience. So, I called Precision Garage Door, they arrived within 30- minutes and corrected this issue that Angie had caused for a $0.00 COST. The customer technician support and customer support is beyond excellent. Precision Garage Door Service is the most reliable garage door replacement/repair company that I have come across! I have owned my home for over 20 years. Precision Garage Door Service is THE ONLY GARAGE DOOR SERVICE I would ever use. I encourage anyone to engage them! Precision Garage Door Service, bar none. 3 starsResponded promptly and the techs called and arrived on schedule. Promptly determined the problem was unit battery needed replaced, but whereas telephone rep indicated charges would be reasonable, i.e. $49 trip charge if work declined, field techs advised the charge for the battery would be over $450, when it is available at retail and online for $50. After dickering with the office based manager and including a charge to reprogram remotes, worked the bill down to about $300. I went with Precision based on BBB accreditation, but i would likely seek another service provider in the future because of the materials upcharging.Review fromMary G

Up changing for parts to repair the garage. And the repair guy was supposed to call me back with the estimate. But went ahead and did the work at my mom's house. She's 77yrs old and she definitely taken advantage of. I pulled up the invoice after I called to get it emailed to me. And I pulled up each part on it. I couldn't believe what the parts were vs what the garage door Co was charging. Very sad. Then I went on the reviews for the company. And. Yeppers quite a bit of other same situations ripping off the people.Precision Door Service of Columbus

3 starsThis company will over charge you for materials. I was charged $550 dollars for a $150 garage door opener. They will aslo skimp on some materials. The garage doors looks nice anyway.Review fromCourtney L.

1 starI WAS COMPLETELY SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY. I called them because our garage door would not open. Their manager was at our home within two hours on a weekday afternoon, which I really appreciated.I knew we had a broken cable, but he informed me that we had two broken cables and a broken spring, which could be repaired for $660. He then tried to upsell me to replace the motor for $1500 or $1800, telling me that it could fail at any time. I declined.I did not get a second estimate because we had a family emergency and just needed it fixed, but I was totally scammed. Anywhere else, I could have had this work done for <$300. A whole new garage door opening system would have been $280 at Home Depot.Dont make the same mistake that I did and get ripped off.
