    This business had acquired a pre-paid plan for my mother from another company in 2004. My mother passed away on 10/29/2022, in NV. Myself and my family tried for days to contact this business to make arrangements and we were not able to get anyone to respond, we then sent an email to the business to obtain a copy of the pre-paid documents and they were never sent. I went on 11/03/2022 to request a copy of the pre-paid documents and refused and was told they could only be viewed by the deceased. We then asked if we could transfer the plan to another funeral home and we were told yes. We provide the information for the new funeral home to take care of the arrangements, ****** ******* ****, Elyria OH. to this date, the new funeral home has yet to see anything from Deihl-Whittaker.

    Their response is a blatant lie.  The pre-paid service was to have the funeral in Columbus OH, after the service in Las Vegas as they had nothing to do with that portion. Mrs ****** was to be sent from Las Vegas to Columbus Ohio for another service. The pre-paid plan was for the service to be held in Columbus then the body was to be transported to Elyria for burial alongside our father. Deihl-Whittaker would not give us a time or date to have the service,  so we were FORCED w with no other option than to move the plan an services to ****** ******* **** in Lorain OH. Their response is highly unaccustomed and deceitful at best.

    Also Mrs  ****** passed away  on October 29, 2022. I called  the Deihl-Whittaker Funeral Home on the same day to inform them of her death. And they didn't even respond to my brother ******* ******  and his wife until November 7, 2022. The  After care meeting occurred on November 14, 2022, which was not scheduled and my brother and his wife refused to leave until requested documents were provided.
