    1 Post is uneven and there is holes in one board and there is not enough boards replaced and they is loose 2x4s. And slates at bottom of fence not attached. No written contract provided to consumer. Date of work 4/20/2023.

    no contract but the date that is completed is 4/20/23; below is only paperwork he has: 

    "1 yr warranty on workmanship 
    Paper states: replaced 3 posts 4x4  and  15  6x6 pt boards  balance was $825.00 per his receipt"

    Mr. ****** called Guardian Fence Company for a repair on his fence and our salesman went out and gave him an estimate on repair. Mr. ****** was told his fence was decayed pretty bad and he needed a new fence. He insisted he just wanted it repaired. We explained we would repair it as best we could and gave him a cost and he was ok with that. Then as we got into repairing the fence while we were nailing new boards up some of the old boards were coming loose at the bottom due to decay, we then offered to install a new board along the bottom of the fence, but Mr. ****** refused to let us do that at this point we had finished doing what we gave him an estimate on the repair. Then Mr. ****** called a week or so later and I went down to check out where he said a couple of boards had come loose on the bottom and once again, I offered to install a new board along the bottom, and he refused. We went above what we were supposed to do on the repair. He's being unrealistic, and we can't build him a new fence for repair cost. If he would have let us add a board at the bottom of his old fence would have helped his problem. Sorry I just feel we aren't going to be able to satisfy him.

    6.23.2023 BBB received a call from the consumer stating that he is not happy with the company's workmanship.  He also said that he had his friend repair the loose boards.
