    Contracted with Ultimate Asphalt to do a complete tear out and replacement of my driveway in August 2023. They arrived and initially just began laying asphalt over the existing driveway. I objected and the owner came to the site. He called the sales person that I worked with and he admitted that he made an error in telling the company that my job was an asphalt layover instead of the tear out and replace mentioned. The company corrected the mistake and in exchange for me not firing them and finding an alternative contractor to do the work due to their mixup and miscommunication, they agreed that they would come and do the sealing of the driveway in Spring 2024 at their cost. I have tried several times to schedule for them to come out and do the sealing as promised but have been met with nothing but delays, excuses and lies. I plan to issue a final demand for them to do the work. If they fail to do it in the allotted time then I will hire another company and then sue them for the expenses incurred in getting the driveway sealed.
