    I needed to have a window repair that was installed in 2002. I did not ask for any warranty. I offered to pay for the window and for an installer to replace it. Pella refused saying the window was over 20 years old. They wanted to have me pick up the window and install it myself. I cannot understand why they would not send an installer to put the window in when I was offering to pay for the service. Everyone should know this is the Pella policy after 20 years.

    After installation two years ago one of our windows started leaking. It looks like they made a mistake in installing the windows and the trim extends past the roofline. I called Pella but they refused to come look at their own mistake without me giving my payment information. Since when do you need to pay a company to correct their own mistake? I talked to Pella corporate and they said the decision to charge customers to look at Pella's own installation mistakes is up to the local Columbus store.

    We never like to hear a bad experience like this and take this very seriously. We were able to work with this customer and correct their issue on spot, free of charge. We always encourage customers to call our local branch directly, as we are able to navigate each situation individually.

    We had a new patio door installed by our contractor. Unfortunately there was a small catch on the bottom door lock that needed serviced. The last company representative was a fairly new employee that had no idea what to do. Not only has it not been fixed but we’ve waited since July. We love the product but not the service or communication from what we assumed was an elite company.
