  Mr. Slate Concrete, LLC **** ** **** ****** ********* ** **********  Mr. R********* information was giving to me by a coworker of mine. She spoke very highly of him and said he was a good person and a great worker. So, I took her word that Mr. R********* was an honest person.

  In October 2022. Mr. R********* came to look at my detached garage to see if he would be able to convert it into a She Shed for me. I was extremely impressed with Mr. R*********; he was a charmer. He begins working on the garage November 2, 2022 – November 29, 2022. Clean it out it, put new wood to support the structure of the building, and put a new roof.

  On November 22, 2022, I gave Mr. R********* a check for $28,300 dollars. Not paying attention to my receipt, I gave him the whole amount for the work he was supposed to finish. Instead of giving me back the check, because I was only supposed to pay him $13,000.00 down, he cashed it.

  Also, gave Mr. R********* a check for $10.000O December 12, 2022, and check for $10,00.00 March 23, 2023.

  He did put siding on the She Shed. He didn’t’ do any work on the She Shed from February 24, 2023, through May 16, 2023.

  On 9/7/2023 Stanley R********* walked into BBB and provided the following response to the complaint filed by ***** *****.
  
  The agreement of our verbal contract was $60,000.00. When I got towards the end of finishing the job, she suggested major changes that would change the price of the job and meanwhile she tried to manipulate and have me do extra work that was not in the verbal agreement. I went far and beyond to try to please Miss *****. Everything I have done has been with honesty and fairness.
  
  Now that we are towards the end of project she refuses to pay for all the extra work she needs to have done to her She Shed. Also, I've been more than fair with Miss ***** and at this point I feel she is trying to take advantage of me.
  
  There is nothing more I can offer her as she refuses to give me anymore money to complete the project.
  
  I have never had any other complaints during the 15 years I've been in business.

  I would never agree to a verbal contract with someone I just met Mr. R********* lied about everything. He’s a very dishonest man even out of the 15 years I’m surprised no one else have taken him to court. In fact, he said he has been taken to court several times.I would like for Mr. R********* to come in and fix my my backyard the window that his worker broke cover of his handiwork that his workers didn’t do put electric that doesn’t work on the back fan electric that doesn’t work in the backyard where there’s two plugs with electric was working replace the door cause he gave the keys to lock and a whole lot needs to be replace, and I will refuse to give Mr. Stanley any more money.  And replace the showerhead which is all that he brought from someplace but I know it’s not new it’s no way to be new and the pictures are of him flooding my basement when he was putting in the sewer pipe in my basement is full of mud steel from this day.  As for his lying, I would also like $10,000 back.
