      On 10/28/2022 I purchased an automobile battery for my 2006 Cadillac DTS from Battery Plus Bulbs **** ********** ***** ***** ***** **** *****. I initially replaced my old battery with this newly purchased one and got no response in attempting to start my vehicle. I placed starter cables from another vehicle to assist in starting my car and after approximately 15 minutes I was able to start my vehicle. After running the vehicle, and driving for approximately 30 minutes, I returned home. Next morning, I went to start my car again nothing. I removed the battery, returned to Batteries Plus and told them that the battery was faulty. They took my battery and said that they would charge it there. The next day I returned and was told that the battery charged fine. I went home, installed the battery, again nothing. Took the battery to a local auto zone for charging and was told that the battery has a dead cell...it will charge while on the charger, but once removed, it loses its charge. Returned to Batteries Plus, requested a replacement, they did not have one at that location that Friday, but could get one from another store and would have it there after the weekend. The following Monday I returned to pick up what I thought was a replacement battery, went home, installed it, again nothing. It is my belief that Batteries Plus took my battery over the weekend, charged it, and returned the same battery I purchased to avoid refunding my money.
