    I've had everything done from diagnostics, brakes, tires, oil changes and much more and they always treat me right and get me done in a timely manner. They are very professional and would recommend them highly!!!

    Took my vehicle in on 8/9/22 and had my front axles replaced. While in they also noted a "valve cover gasket leaking oil". I went ahead with the replacement of the valve cover which also required an oil change (I just had one done on 6/6/22), degrease and ultra *******************, air filter replaced, and of course my front axles (totaling $1605.20 after taxes). I received my car back on 8/11/22 at approximately 5ish pm when I got off of work. Fast forward to Saturday 8/13/22, at approximately 530p my car died and shut off while driving on a main city road. Had it towed back to Milex because they JUST had my car! They looked at it and are now saying my camshaft is scored, sludgy oil conditions, metal flakes in oil, and that my engine is blown and I am looking at approximately $8000-$10000 to fix. I spoke with the older gentleman who was working when I was waiting for my car to get towed to a dealer to get another opinion, and voiced my concerns that 1. My car had NO issues prior to it going in to get my axles replaced 2. I have maintained my oil changes on schedule 3. I have had NO check engine lights on 4. My car was making NO noises prior to them working on it. The *** dealer my car is currently at said that for my spun main bearing (which is the issue with my engine now), that means there was no lubrication, IE no or not enough oil. Well, I had my oil changed prior to this, and they supposedly did an oil change also less than 2 days before my engine blew. Milex will not take any responsibility for any damage that they may have caused to my engine due to negligence. 100% dissatisfied with service received. They are not offering any type of solutions or helping with anything.

    Hi *****, Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry that you are in this situation. When we diagnosed the vehicle with the engine issue we found the timing chain was loose, the camshafts were scored, and found oil sludge with metal flakes in the sludge. These indictors indicate a long term failure that has been going on prior to us servicing the vehicle. The oil change and replacing the axles had no influence on the condition. When we did the repairs everything went as it normally does with no issues. Based on these facts we do not see how this is our responsibility.

    very dissatisfied, this company failed to preform services paid for by consumer and installed faulty transmission into customers vehicle which stopped working while in use, this company seeking additional monies to rebuild the faulty transmission that they installed without customers authorization

    Hi *****, On 05/10/2022 you brought us your **** **** Explorer to us stating that it does not move, and it died at the *** Gas Station. We performed our Free Drivability Inspection and determined that the transmission had failed, and that the vehicle needs a new transmission. We provided 3 options: 1. Remanufactured Transmission with a 3yr/100k Mile Warranty, 2. Rebuilt transmission with a 12m/Unlimited Mileage Warranty, and 3. Used Transmission with No Warranty. The 3 options were explained in detail and we stated that the Used Transmission option is the riskiest option because we never know for sure how good the unit really is, even though the supplier stated that it was tested, which simply means that it came out of a vehicle that ran and drove. You chose the cheapest option, Option #3, Used Transmission with No Warranty. We installed the used transmission, tested and drove the vehicle which was driving and shifting fine. The vehicle was picked up on 05/27/2022.The Used Transmission failed on or around 07/05/2022 and there is no warranty coverage for this transmission. The cause of failure is an internal mechanical failure of the used transmission. We provided options of trying to repair the transmission, rebuild the transmission, or get a remanufactured transmission. On 08/03/2022 you picked up his vehicle and declined the repairs. We delivered the parts and services that were authorized and purchased as stated on the invoice, with no warranty.
