  Giffin's Tree Service was very professional in their execution of multiple extensive home projects. Not only was their price very competitive but they were thorough in executing the projects and ensured we were completely satisfied with the work products … including leaving our yard spotless upon completion. As “senior citizens” this was very important to us. **** was out throughout the multi-week projects providing hands-on guidance/involvement. We were kept informed and **** was very hands-on. Their scope of work extended well beyond just tree removal & stump grinding of multiple very large/tall trees - but included extensive external painting, deck repairs and gutter installation projects on multiple out buildings. We were very pleased with the jobs these professionals performed and will continue using their services as new needs arise.

  I hired Giffin’s tree service to remove a dead pine tree, and to grind the stump of that tree plus another stump in the yard. The verbal price agreement was $500. The project site was my sister’s home and I informed Rick that she is a senior citizen and I would inform her of the work. Rick then approached my sister and asked for $400 more to add soil, grass seed, and straw. This was not part of our agreement and my sister does not have funds for this. His crew completed the work I ordered but then used clumps of poor clay subsoil, which could not be graded, nor would it grow grass. The grading was extremely poor and grass was sparse. After confronting Rick by phone, he stated that he would return my sister’s check. He did not do this. I informed him that he was taking advantage of a senior. I have since put many hours into trying to level the grade and will have to purchase more soil and seed to complete the job. The dealing with my sister was deceptive, product was inferior as was the grading job. I am extremely dissatisfied with Giffin’s Tree Service

  They did a couple very large maple trees good quality work very fair on price they did a amazing job on clean up the guy running the job was very professional and the climber and ground crew was amazing I would recommend these guys any time.

  Giffins removed a tree on a neighboring property where the tree was approx. 10 ft from the corner of my house while I was out of town. Before they left one of my neighbors asked that they clean off my roof and gutters which were full of sawdust and small twigs. They failed to clean the area at the downspout and as a result my gutters over flowed during this mornings downpour. As I am 70 yrs old a younger neighbor climbed the ladder and removed a total of approx a 5 gal bucket of twigs and wet sawdust from my downspouts so they could drain again. When I called to speak to ********************* to suggest that he ensure that his employees act in a more professional manner and clean their debris up he was very rude and disrespectful and became hostile and accused me of trying to get something for nothing.
