      I hired Bobby ********* 9/20/22 to remove a tree from my backyard. The agreement was to take out 1 maple tree and clean up the mess and haul away everything. He did take the tree down and removed the majority of the tree but left me with a huge uncut piece of the trunk that cannot just be picked up and hauled off. It still needs to be cut up with a chainsaw and hauled away. I paid him half when he started on 9/20/22 and the remainder on 9/21/22 as he promised to come back and cut up the remainder of the trunk and clean up the remaining debris the next day. He did not show the next day and stopped by to tell me he had to take his daughter to the dentist and would be back the day after. He did not show. I texted him on 9/27/22 and he again said he had to take his daughter to the doctor and would be here on 9/28 or 9/29. He called me on 9/29 and told me he would be there on Saturday 10/1. He also texted me on 10/1 stating he would be here. He no showed. I texted him on 10/4 asking him to honor our written agreement. He said he would be there first thing in the morning which would have been 10/5/22. He no showed and I have not heard from him since. It has now been a month since he started and I want the job finished per our written and signed agreement as I should not have to pay someone else to do the job he agreed to do. At this point, there is only the tree trunk that needs completed as the gentleman that mows for me graciously cleaned up the debris.

      BBB called business and spoke to the owner, Bob *********, who said he never rec'd this complaint but is going out this week to clean everything up and he has let the consumer know that.

      as of today I have not heard from Bob ********* nor has the work been completed.

      Called Bob one more time as a courtesy and he said he would go out tomorrow morning and finish the job. He said his wife had surgery and that's why he no-showed last time.

      Consumer called BBB and stated that Bob did not show up to finish the work as promised.
