I hired DSL Moving to move my family from Atlanta to Wilmington, Ohio. The agreed upon price for the service was $5,800. They requested a list of items to move which I provided. They rented a small moving truck rated for a 3-bedroom house because theirs was in the shop. They showed up late, loaded the rented truck (took over 8 hours), and at the end of the day requested an additional $2,900 to rent a second smaller truck which at that point I did not have an option, so I agreed to pay. We moved a 4 bedroom house, with an office, workout equipment, and they should have mentioned this before loading. They left a full-sized truck load behind which my husband was forced to move. After the services were completed, they charged an additional $580 that I didn’t agree to in advance, but I paid. Many items were broken during delivery (see photos and video). A nightstand and a desk were not delivered. I was told they were destroyed and disposed of. Additionally, a treadmill purchased in Nov 2021 for $1,899.99 was damaged and is no longer usable. They damaged a different desk (bought in April 2021 for $183.81), a hutch (2020 for $800), nightstand ($100), and a nightstand / media console ($200). My house in Atlanta was damaged. A very heavy (300 to 400 lbs) desk was pushed across wood flooring, leaving scratches. The treadmill was forced through an opening that was too small (confirmed by measuring). Left deep gauges in drywall. Treadmill was forced through an exterior door and the strike plate was bent and ripped off of the frame. I called DSL Moving multiple times and sent texts and after several weeks I was able to speak with ****. **** told me he would speak with his crew and to send an email with a description of the problems, pictures, and a video of the treadmill so that we could find a resolution. I did this but never heard back. I have tried to reach **** for a month but have heard nothing.
