    Holon Publishing, a division of ******* ***** Group, LLC, has proven to be less than integral in its operations. My experience has been marked by multiple staff turnovers, poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and a lack of professionalism. I have yet to receive court-ordered payment following a small claims court ruling. As a first-time author, I was eager to have my book published by this "hybrid publishing company." I signed my contract on April 27, 2022, initially drawn in by the CEO’s charisma and commitment to deliver. Per my contract, I was promised deliverables by September 1, 2022. Unfortunately, the process was met with multiple, unreasonable delays, copyright violations, and large unprofessionalism. Despite my inexperience, I exhibited patience and goodwill, agreeing to extend the deadline for my proof and published book four times, with the final deadline set for March 30, 2023 (5 months later). Regrettably, this extended timeline was also missed, and I NEVER received my proof. Additionally, the design of my book was riddled with numerous inexpert "mistakes," including a copyright violation that the CEO dismissively labeled as a "formatting mistake.” Initially, I was promised the opportunity to work with seasoned industry professionals with "years" of experience. However, I found myself assigned to a new, graduate-level author coach, an unaffiliated design editor (who lacked official association with Holon and this being their first project), and a contracted editor, whom the CEO claimed was a senior member of the Holon team. Shockingly, all four individuals directly involved in my project have since resigned from Holon. My experience with Holon has been incredibly stressful and frustrating as a first-time author. As of the date of this review, October 20, 2024, I have yet to receive my $4,900 garnishment following the court's decision in August 28, 2023
