    Absolutely above and beyond what I needed. The repair was flawless and done exactly how I asked. They even gave me a military discount.

    Took a banjo for repair. Dropped it off on a Saturday and was told we would be called with an estimate on Monday or Tuesday. I guess I should have asked what Monday or Tuesday. After calling several times over a few weeks, I finally reached the "luthier". I was told they thought it would be $150-$200 to replace the fifth string tuning machine. It was messed up, but didn't think it would cost that much. Didn't want to pay that much. Told them to call me back with a final estimate. Didn't hear anything, so we decided to drive the 45 minutes to pick it up. When we got there I was told they needed to put it back together. I hadn't authorized any work. What we got was a banjo that had the new strings cut off. The tuner sawzalled off and a very horrible drilling job on the neck. the hole was an oval with many little drill holes as well. The neck was ruined. Don't take your instruments here for repair. You will wait a long time. Be overcharged and get a crappy job.
