    Contractor was retained to renovate a rental property and to purchase and install mechanicals and finishes. He completed an extensive written listing of the work that he would be doing and the supplies he would be purchasing. He completed only a small part of the work and the work that he did was shoddy and unacceptable. Extensive documentation has been prepared in support of this complaint and is available upon request. It is too voluminous to upload. Contractor claims on his business card to be licensed and insured but refuses to provide insurer information. Further, Contractor retained all purchased mechanicals and supplies and refuses to return them per written request.

    BBB called business spoke to Derrick R******. He stated that work done for *** ****** was done as a friend not through his business and there was no contract and money was paid directly to Derrick R******. Derrick said that she was trying to rehab an entire home with $40,000.00. He said he met *** ****** through her neighbor that Derrick knows. Derrick said he is willing to participate in a phone mediation giving him and Kim the opportunity to to further discuss her complaint issues.
