This place is horrid if you want your love ones to die then this is the place . My brother went here to detox after we had another place lined up they would not release him until we told them we were calling the police to do a well check thats when his social worker whom had already left for the day and it was 2pm she went back to the facility and he was released the very next morning , my brother laid in the bed peeing pooping vomiting all over himself they did nothing for him He called and said they arent giving me my meds thats when me and my niece sprung into action . Then we were on a conference call one of the staff members laughed at our family situation . I told him Im glad you think this is a laughing matter thats when he tried to back peddle and say Im not laughing clearing he was ! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE CONSUMER BEWARE THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUT DOWN

I had an overwhelmingly bad experience. please proceed with caution. The experience was so traumatic that one of my alters came out. Which one of the technicians met and talked too. I barely remember that next day. It took until Tuesday to get all my medications straight. The majority of the nursing staff does not read the patient charts completely. I "as a patient" had to remind them that I only took one of my medications a certain dosage in the morning and at night. One nurse had to use a pill finder on her phone because she had no idea which one it was after I kept telling her which one it was. She finally looked at me and told me I was right. Other nurses because they didn't carry my one medication and didn't read my chart. I had to remind them where to get my medication and what it was. Another nurse tried to give me the same medication after I took it the night before in the morning. I was told they didn't carry another one of my medications after my husband had brought medications of mine to the hospital. The nurse rifled through it. Took what she wanted and left what she wanted. So my husband had to bring it back. I woke up the next morning and they had it in one mg packages. So needless to say he or I were not happy. Communication with this place is a joke. techs on the floor you can tell that don't want to be there. They talk bad about the place they work in front of patience. About how they want to quit/walk out. That's all fine and dandy have your opinions. please if your in a behavioral hospital. Be aware of your surroundings. your in a place to better someone's life. Not to hear that you don't want to be here. That doesn't help us. That just tells us why in the **** are we here for? Professionalism from techs in this place is ridiculous. Most of the workers are on their phones most of their shift. Either by video calling or answering a phone call from a loved one, friend. Which starts a chain reaction on the unit. I want my phone and so on etc.

There are some very great people there, which are surprisingly only the aids. The care staff is completely horrible. When I am struggling, I would think I’d be met by judgement free staff that are approachable. Instead I’m met with Nurse ***, who had a horrible attitude and cast judgement on my addictions. I overheard him laughing under his breath when I had been struggling. On top of that, the Psychiatrist, Dr. ****** was very short with me. She refused to put me on the antidepressant that I said had helped. When I got upset and complained, she said I wasn’t controlling my Bipolar. She then put me on seroquel during the day. I had refused to take it since seroquel is a nighttime meditation. They decided to hold me much longer. Their is no care for what the patients feel. Many other daytime staff had made that obvious. Nurses like ****** had been the only ones nice enough not to put this as a one star. Honestly your better off finding your own care than getting help here.
