I'm trying to get my rebate for the four tires that I purchased from Goodyear but I keep getting the response "we need more info". I have provided everything that is required and keep getting the same response. It's a 200 dollar rebate and I spent 1500 on tires and install. I didn't think it would be such a big deal trying to get a rebate. I've done this before without any issues. I will not use there's services again till I get my rebate.

Windshield Damage and Denied Claims: A Goodyear Experience On February 19th, I brought my 2018 Dodge Ram to the Goodyear Service Center on *********** in *********, **. I asked for a tire installation, balancing, and an oil change. When I picked up my truck, I saw a horizontal crack in my windshield that spanned its entire width. I immediately informed the store manager, who sent a technician to meet me in the parking lot. The technician stated there was nothing he could do, leaving me in the parking lot holding my invoice.I returned home and immediately contacted Goodyears corporate office to report the incident. They apologized and explained that the store manager should have inspected the windshield and filed a claim on the spot. Later, I was contacted by Goodyears claims office, who collected my information, and assured me I would hear back within 48 hours. However, I never received a follow-up from Goodyears corporate. Instead, the store manager (who was too busy to inspect the damage), called to inform me that my claim was ********* a marketing professional for over 30 years, I understand the value of accountability and customer care. Unfortunately, based on my experience, it appears that if your vehicle is damaged while in the care of a Goodyear Service Center, you might not receive the responsibility and support you expect. Although my insurance will cover the windshield repair, this incident has significantly diminished my trust in Goodyear, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Late afternoon on November 18, 2024, my car's dashboard alerted me that the rear passenger tire pressure was low at 26 psi. Fortunately, I had my air inflator with me, so I pulled over and inflated the tire. I then drove to Just Tires at **** ** ****** *** in Des Plaines. After the car was inspected by a technician, **** informed me that the tire could not be fixed because the puncture was too close to the shoulder, about 3 inches from the sidewall. Despite it appearing fixable, **** was more interested in selling me a new tire. He quoted me $1,500 for four BF Goodrich Exhilarate all-season tires instead of addressing my problem. Disheartened but still hopeful, I added more air to the tire when I got home. The next morning, I removed the tire and took it to Discount Tire in Mount Prospect, IL. They happily fixed the tire at no cost. I am bringing this to your attention to highlight the dishonest behavior exhibited by your employee. This reflects poorly on your company's policies and should be addressed immediately.

I came to good year just for an oil change and possible diagnostic on my engine. When I got there it wasn't too bad I was greeted and had my information changed, I told them I just wanted to do an oil change and skip on the diagnostic, They told me they couldn't do the cheapest option because they don't have the "synthetic blend" for it even though the sign states coventional or synthetic so I just told him the next cheapest option which was 60 something dollars. I came in around 4pm Cause I worked across the street and before I left I asked how long it would be where the employee started stuttering saying he wasn't sure...Okay They called me around 5:18 asking me if I wanted my filters changed and the additional cost they would put on my car which I said no, and before hanging up I asked how long it was going to take as I needed my car to get home. He replied ***** minutes and I said okay. He didn't seem to sure about his answer as when I started worrying that they haven't called me back around that time frame I had a friend go check on my car who then told me the place is closed. NOT COOL. They not only closed without telling me, but they also closed without telling me they still had their car. An oil change shouldn't take more that 3 hours, it shouldn't even take more than a hour. Instead of trying to find problems wrong with my car they should focus on what I'm paying them for. Do not recommend anyone to go here if you value your time, money, and good customer **********************.

Earlier I left a review, but I’m unsure that it actually went through. Unsure if I hit submit. I thought that they messed up my car, but now I believe it was a coincidence. After having a tire put on, I got a bunch of error codes that popped up on my dash that weren’t there before. I assumed it was caused by them. It turned out that there was an issue with my acceleration pedal. I looked for the trouble codes using a scanner tool, did some research, and realized that the wiring that connected to the pedal was a little loose. I believe that when I was vacuuming my car the day or two before I took in my car to Goodyear I might have knocked it loose and coincidentally the error codes and problems accelerating didn’t pop on until right after I got my car back from them. I made a big scene and would just like to apologize. I’m leaving this review in an attempt to cancel out the one star review I left earlier this morning. Aaron Boothe

The manager R.D. Is dishonest. His cashier ****** ********* was no help. Also the work performed on my vehicle was by *** ******* and also the manager R.D., In October 2024 they had me bringing my car back once a week, four separate times. One of my vehicles just needed new tires. They blamed my car for having brittle plastic that they broke and didnt give me valve stem caps on new $600 tires. I later returned to retrieve those valve stem caps and broken hub cap that wasnt broke when it came to them. I then got a flat tire 2 weeks later from a s**** on a new tire, i had them change it for free under warranty and while they had the vehicle they replaced brake pads and rotors. Costing separate $642.44 when the tire replacement was free. They damaged my back wheels replacing these rotors and they keep asking me to bring back this car. They have had this car 4 separate times in less than 30 days. I refused to bring this car back and I told RD I want a refund because I have both my cars worked on by them. He patronized me and minimized the situation by saying bring it back and well take a look. I kept repeating Im not bringing it back and want a refund. I waited over 2 hours each of the four times Ive been inside this shop. I do not trust them or their work. They have been paid in total $1,280.24 as of October. They performed dishonest work on both vehicles. One car is a brand new 2024 that had a scuffed rim I wanted them to check it out. Brand new car, they say was measured out of alignment on all 4 wheels. After I got my car back it pulls off the road as if Im turned the steering wheel. The same work is done to my older SUV duplicating the same hard pulling into on coming traffic as if Im turning the steering wheel. RD acts stumped and refusing refund while patronizing me. He is not willing to refund me so I am here spreading the word of poor dishonesty from RD and *** *******.GOODYEAR AUTO SERVICE CENTER *******************************************************************************

This place is a scam. I called to inquire about an oil change and wait times. I believe based on my appearance they attempted to take advantage and discriminate against me, assuming I had no knowledge on cars. When I spoke to them on the phone they stated the oil change had no wait time, wasnt busy and could be completed quickly. When I arrived at the store the first red flag was that despite three employees being outside, nobody wanted to assist in telling me which garage to pull into, where to park or where to go. When I got inside the building I had to flag down another employee and ask for an oil change. He asked me about 30 questions about my car and asked for my keys. He then stated it was going to be $119! For a standard oil change on a newer car with low mileage! Being new to the area I didnt know where to go and was in a rush so I said ok. Then he told me it would take 1-2 hours to complete the oil change. The shop was empty. There was 1 other car in the four garage facility. I said that would be unacceptable, grabbed my keys back and left. They tried to hustle me and say the time would also be devoted to a diagnostics on my entire vehicle, which I never even asked for. This place should have the Goodyear title revoked and be closed.

This auto service center is scamming their customers and not fixing the issues Customers request. I came for just TWO issues: an oil change and to fix my tire. I informed them that the back tire on the drivers side had a slow leak. What they gave me was a laundry list of a million issues with my car and an estimation of approximately $1200. I dont have the money for that. So I asked for the major things to be done. Granted, none of this was a problem for me but because they said so, I trusted their judgement. I assumed that one of those major issues was my tire, the actual reason I came in. I was charged $760 for them doing whatever they considered necessary. Which, again, was not what I even asked for. Barely two weeks pass and my tire still has a slow leak. I wonder what they even fixed with my $760. I will never go back because I do not trust them. $760 was given to them and my tire still has the same problem that I informed them of. Which tells me that they did not listen to me In the first place. A slow leak needs to be either patched up or replaced. And a good mechanic can tell which is necessary to do.

On 8/10 I walked in to Goodyear their was two men on staff they had a line of people waiting but I had an appointment set by corporal. So I walk around to see if I am gonna need to let someone know I am here. The place was busy *** ******* was the man came inside said I will help each of you but we are working with two men. The other young man was ********* ****. They got that line down in 30 minutes with the best attitudes and a clear understanding on the serves needed for my car. ********* drove my car in and saw what need to be fix in seconds . I was very pleased with the service and will be coming back to get service here again.

This concerns the *************** store in *****, ****. We have been customers there for years but have always been cautious about accepting their repair recommendations. We have had second opinions that were contrary to their suggestions before. Today was the final straw. We brought two vehicles in for oil. I requested a blend for one and a standard oil for the second. When we picked the cars up, we were told that they put a blend in both, costing me about twice as much for the second car. On top of this they only set my due date out ***** miles on the cars. Who ever heard of a *****-mile use period on a synthetic blend? "That's what we recommend" was their answer. We asked why we weren't told they couldn't do a standard oil change at the time we brought it in. No answer (crickets). Also, they never bothered resetting my cars oil maintenance light. I thought several years ago when a Goodyear store forgot to put a seal around my brand-new oil filter that anyone could make a mistake (oil drained out and almost blew up engine). My advice: Never take your car to a Goodyear store for any service, but if you do ALWAYS get a second opinion from a certified mechanic you can trust.
