    I purchased a subscription to Cal AI through their link - *************************************** on 2/25/2025. I completed the transaction on a PC, and at no point during checkout was I informed that my subscription would be tied exclusively to iOS. After payment, I was directed to download the app, at which point I realized it was only available for ***** devices. I do not own an Apple device and have no way to access the service I paid for.I immediately contacted Cal AIs customer support, but they refused to issue a refund, stating that subscriptions are platform-specific and I must simply wait a full year for it to expire before I can repurchase for my actual device. This is unacceptable, as I was not made aware of this restriction before purchase, and the product is completely inaccessible to me.This practice amounts to deceptive business conduct, as they failed to disclose a critical limitation before charging my credit card. I am requesting a full refund, as I am unable to use the service due to their misleading checkout process.I believe this violates consumer protection laws, and I am requesting an investigation into Cal AIs subscription policies.

    Company Details:Business Name: *** ** (**************************)Website: ************************************** Type of Complaint: False Advertising, Deceptive Business Practices Amount: $36.99 USD Date: February 19, 2025 Complaint Details:I purchased a subscription to Cal AI through their website under the assumption that I could use it on the mobile app. However:My purchase did not sync with the app, making the subscription unusable.Their website does not disclose that subscriptions purchased online are device-locked and cannot be transferred.They advertise a "100% Money-Back Guarantee", yet refused to issue a refund when I was unable to use the service.Their Terms of Service do not state the refund policy they are enforcing.I contacted customer support multiple times, but they refused to provide proof of any policy stating that refunds are unavailable. Their business practices are misleading, and they are refusing to honor their own refund ************ Evidence of False Advertising I have video proof of their website, Terms of Service, and the full purchase process.Nowhere does it state that purchases are device-locked or that refunds are not available.Their "100% Money-Back Guarantee" is clearly visible before purchase, yet they refuse to honor it.I request that the BBB intervene and ask *** ** to process my refund immediately.

    There was communication between me and by Viral Development LLC regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    They refuse to provide a refund and have stated the refund policy does not apply to my case. However, this was incorrect and there is no where that states my case is not entitled to the refund. I have attached the email thread between my self and the companies support team.  

    In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
