I have a credit card with this company. I ordered an XBOX x series online the the beginning of last year and never received it. I reported this to them about 10 times and screenshot everything, gave them proof that I ordered it and never received it, and they still made me pay for it. 400 dollars down the drain for something I never received even though they claim that you are not responsible for fraud. The website was a fake website and after reporting all of this too t hem, giving them screenshots, giving them the web address, giving them the fake receipt I got from the website, the website entirely disappeared from the internet and I was ripped off 400 dollars from a fraudulent website. Citi told me I had to pay for the fraudulent transaction. Do not ever trust this company when they tell you that you are not responsible for fraudulent transactions because that is a lie. I reported them to the ************************ as well. Poor people can't afford to just hand Citi 400 dollars and never receive what they paid for.

Multiple Citibank representatives initially claimed that an incomplete ****************** and the accompanying check were mailed back to the customer on March 31, ******** customer was told to wait seven ********************** days for the return but did not receive the documents. After repeated follow-ups (April 2, April 10, April 11), Citibank admitted they still had the check and application, contradicting previous statements. The customer requested immediate return of the documents and tracking information, but as of April 13, 2025, had received neither. The ongoing delay and inconsistent communication have caused significant inconvenience and frustration, raising concerns about Citibanks customer service and reliability in handling ******************s.The customer has warned that legal action may be pursued if the issue is not resolved promptly. After this, 2 days later I received my information back with tracking.

citi bank it's probably the worst bank I have seen. This bank is run by algorithms, there is no human touch behind anything they do, it is a mindless automaton.their customer service does not exist, stay away of all their products, especially their credit cards. They're completely untrustworthy, and totally incompetent.Stay away, there are many other options.

overcharge, was on autopay, and they charged me a fee for being late. When you call, you get some computer that must be from the 90s. can't ever get a representative to speak to when you ask it says it doesn't understand. It said I had a $29.00 ***. and a $31.00 late charge. i canceled my shell card I had for over 20 years without ever making a late payment. Today, I will shred my citi bank master card that I have had for over 25 years.

I'm astounded by the shady banking practices of this corporation. I got a ***** to consolidate my debt. I sent them a sizable certified check tonpay off the balance of my card. It showed the payment was received and I had a credit balance. Fast forward 2 weeks for my card to be declined. The ***** number stated I didn't have funds available. I called and spoke to a representative and a supervisor, whose smarmy voice sets your teeth on edge. For him to tell me that the payment was received, but my account is on hold (accruing interest during this 2 week time frame) while "further research and verification is required" prior to posting the payment on the 18th (it was received on the 4th) I could be wrong. This isn't a bank account, and their justification of the hold is "for the safety and security of me and my account"... seriously? Just wow!

I just opened an account April 7 and April 8 my debit card was shipped. On the 10th of April I tried to log in to mobile banking and received an error code stating that Citibank is having technical difficulties and to try again later. I tried again on the 11th and today on the 12th and its still saying the same thing. So I call customer service the first ****** I speak to tells me that there is a fraud alert on my account and that I need to speak to that department so she proceeded to give me the direct number. I get the number and I called them. Theres seven different prompts to choose from. I dont know which one I should choose because I dont know whats going on with my account when I login it says nothing of a fraud alert. Since technical difficulties was not an option I went with the next best thing which was received a mobile alert,(prompt 3). I spoke to a young girl who, after looking at my account, tells me that I need to contact a different fraud department. theres a bunch of different fraud departments apparently. She starts to give me the number which was the # I just called. I informed her I just called that number and asked her which prompt I should choose since I have no clue whats going on with my account. She told me to choose prompt number four, which is something to do with my application. Which really doesnt make sense considering my debit card is on the way and Ive already funded the account. Im just eager to get into my account to see if my mistake is fixed as I was told it would be. I accidentally made two opening deposits because the first one I made was not showing under pending transfers on either end so I initiated a second one and then they both hit on April 7 leaving me -$2000 but I was told the 2000 was being reversed to 1500 would be deposited and I would be left with a positive balance of $1500. I go to login two days ago and I cannot get in and I havent been able to since Thats literally the only activity this is BS.

Misleading Promotional Offer Broken Trust I deposited over $300,000 into a Citi Gold Checking account based on repeated verbal confirmations from Citibank representatives that I qualified for a $1,500 bonus. Over a period of several months, I followed up multiple times to verify my eligibility, and every time I was assured that I met all the requirements. When the time came to receive the bonus, Citibank suddenly claimed I was ineligible due to a prior checking account a condition that was never mentioned during the entire process. Despite raising the issue and filing a complaint with the ***** Citibank simply restated I did not meet the terms, completely ignoring the months of misinformation I received from their staff. This is not a simple oversight it's a serious lapse in transparency and accountability. I feel misled into keeping a large deposit with Citi under false pretenses. If you're considering any promotional offer from Citibank, be extremely cautious and get everything in writing.

All I can say is wow. My mind is blown with hor horrible customer service is. I called for financial help and requested a lower APR, what I got instead was my credit line lowered. And after reiterating that I was **** my credit could not be brought back up to where it was previously. Do your agents have basic grade school level understanding? Because this person didn't know the difference between a credit line and APR. I can't wait to be done with this trash company.
