      *********** works or known as ************************ is a washer and dryer service company maintains the three washers and three dryers in our ***************** senior hud housing facility, ****************************************. On a weekend day in November 2024, an employee from ************************ entered our facility and increased the washing machine coin rate from 1.00 to 2.00, and then increased the dryers from .75 to 2.00. Since then in the past two weeks, all coin machines are all jammed up with coins that they no longer work. Several residents have requested service calls, or refunds because the machines took their money, but didnt work. Last week, the ************************ service man examined the machines, and said the washers and dryers are malfunctioning due to the coin slot container, and he doesnt service that part. Our property manager has called the ************************ service several times on our behalf with no resolution from the service company. This service company has totally ignored our requests for refunds and service. No one can do their laundry for the last two weeks. The people living here are elderly women and men with limited mobility, and failing health with limited income resources, and zero alternative resources for help. I only have pictures of the laundry room machines tat have the service companys information, and a website for them. Please contact this company for us to see why they are not working on the machines, and to reduce the wash and dry cost back to the original price. We are essentially crippled without decent quality laundry service which is affecting our health and hygiene.

      We understand that the price increase has been a source of frustration for you. To address this, we recommend that you have management contact their designated sales representative to discuss this issue further.

      In the past 300 days, there are not any submitted REFUND request under your name.

      Below is our refund policy:

      Residents can report lost funds within 1-2 business days of losing them, and the refund must be associated with a service request for verification. We do not authorize mass refunds over some time.

      The online form Refund Request CSC ServiceWorks (*********) is for minor refunds for one broken machine at a time. 

      Large refunds requested online without information about how the funds were lost cannot be approved. 

      You may use the online form within two business days if funds are lost in one machine.

      The dryer on the 5th floor has never worked properly. It has been out for the whole month of Nov 2024. ******* (the management company) shifts the problem to *** (we dont have any control over ***, they are a vendor). CSC shifts the problem to Trinity (we cant switch a dryer out without approval). Meanwhile, the entire 5th floor has to go to other floors to use their dryers. I just want the dryer fixed.

      Upon reviewing the service history notes left by the technician regarding the dryer 182-JPV on floor 5, we can confirm the following information:

      The dryer is malfunctioning because of a vent issue, not the actual machine itself. The technician has tried to inform the property, but no one is on-site. When the technician calls, the management number gives a bunch of prompts, and then the phone disconnects. 

      The property must hire a third party to resolve the vent issue. 

      We encourage you to share this information with your property, as we cannot do anything else to resolve the matter.

      2 out of 11 washing machines do not function properly. The company refuses to repair or issue refunds when tenants pay for a machine that does not function. Most of the dryers do not function as well.

      1. 466-GVK/Washer: Installed a new shock absorber base and belt/pump model kit.

      2. 468-GVK/Washer: The machine was unplugged; it has been replugged and is now working properly.

      3. 457-GVK/Dryer: Replaced SUBS TO SEL-CNAR-02 - CSC APP CONNECT.

      4. 467-GVK/Washer: Ordered an aluminum pulley kit, cleaned the reader, and replaced the coil kit.

      5. 470-GVK/Washer: Conducted preventative maintenance; the machine is working properly.

      6. 465-GVK/Washer: Conducted preventative maintenance; the machine is working properly.

      7. 451-GVK/Dryer: Conducted preventative maintenance; the machine was unplugged due to a property issue; the property management is aware of this issue.

      A technician returned to the site on November 27, 2024, to repair the following machine:

      8. 463-GVK/Washer: Repaired the door.

      9. 466-GVk/Washer: The coin box needs repair so it can connect with the washer, which is functioning properly.

       We are currently waiting for parts for machines 466 and 467. Once our partnered manufacturer delivers the parts to our warehouse, a technician will return to the site to install them. We hope to have these machines operational as soon as possible.

      My landlord sent out an email to everyone in my apartment complex instructing us to mail in our old laundry cards in order to get a refund. I followed the directions my landlord gave me and have been patiently waiting for my refund. I've tried contacting CSC ServiceWorks multiple times and I'm always told that someone will reach out to me soon but nobody ever does. It's been several months now and I'm still waiting for my refund.

      I live in the ****************** complex in **********. Our complex has multiple buildings including mine where the washers have been broken for over a month. One of the washers in my building, building 50, first broke in August 2024, then broke again September 2024 and its is now November 2024 and it still has not been repaired. It is filled with dirty disgusting moldy water this whole time. The smell at one point was horrendous and it's probably unsafe and unhealthy. No one has even come to at the very least get the water out and see what is wrong with it. This is a repetitive issue with this company. If they can't fix the machine the right way they need to replace it. There is no excuse for leaving it like that for months.

      This company services the 4 washers and dryers for Slim ******* Court apartments. They are consistently broken for months and never fixed. The machines are taking our quarters and its a hassle to get your money back. I have lived in these apartments for 11 years and always have to go to the laundry mat because the machines in my apartments are never working. I used the app to report the machines and the app tells me that the machine that just took my quarters doesnt exist. I want the company to fix the machines or provide new ones that actually work and doesnt just steal my money.

      Based on the account records, *** is to collect the equipment once per month, which was agreed upon between the property and their designated *** account representative. The machines were last collected the week of October 27, 2024. *** has been meeting contract agreements regarding the schedule for the pick-up of the coins.
      You will need to contact your property if you believe the machines need to be collected more often. The machines on site are what was ordered by the property and likely intended to be kept for an extended period of time.

      Service and Collections are different. There have not been any recent service calls on the account, just collections request. You can submit a service request within the ************* application under Service Support if there are inoperable machines. Call our customer support line to submit a service request at ************** if you only use coins.

      If you've experienced a loss of funds while using our machines, we want to make sure you're aware of the refund process. Here are the resources available to you:

      *** provided laundry machine services where i live. back in june 2024 our residence changed laundry machine providers and many of us were left to file refund requests with csc. on 6/17/24 i contacted *** to begin refund claim. on this day i filed a formal refund request and received email confirmation which included instructions on how to return my laundry card to them. my card had about $15.00 remaining. i was told a check for the card balance would be issued to me once they processed my returned laundry card.after no refund, i called csc to inquire about my check late august/early september 2024. i gave all info to identify my claim. the *** *** said he was escalating my request and i should hear from them in 2-3 ********** i called csc again. still no refund. i spoke to three different ***s who all instructed me to different actions. i attempted to email ********************** but my confirmation number nor my phone number was recognized therefore i called ********** csc *** emailed the later email address for me. again to track my refund.i informed *** i was complaining about this to bbb and want my refund that is due.

      Appliance warehouse continues to give the run around regarding pickup, which they do to everyone, in order to be able to continue monthly charges on your account. Now they state that the appliances are lost and will likely try to charge me for their months of misconduct and not picking up their appliances. I still cant even get the issue figured out as they tell me theyre going to look into it each time I call. They continue to charge me monthly, and now are threatening to send me to collections over their continuous mistakes and mismanagement. They post false concern responses here and elsewhere that they have a negative review and then ghost you when you contact as well.

      Thank you for contacting CSC ServiceWorks/Appliance Warehouse and informing us of your customer concerns. We understand that this situation may have caused you inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for that. We appreciate your patience while we worked with our supervisor of residential collections to gather information regarding your complaint. 

      Reviewing the account confirmed that Appliance Warehouse made many unsuccessful attempts to retrieve the equipment. We called and spoke to **** in the leasing office, who stated that she knew where the equipment was. The equipment was located and picked up on 10/25/2024. The customer must take this up with the leasing office as to why they did not allow us to pick up the equipment the time and time again we attempted. 

      The customer called in and set up the original pick-up on 4/29 for 5/21 and called in and rescheduled it for 5/24.
      5/24 no permission to enter, and there was no one at home
      5/30 - The customer called in to reschedule
      6/3 - 2nd attempt- The leasing office gave the driver three sets of keys, and neither worked for the apartment no keys for access. 
      6/7  - 3rdattempt- leasing office closed office and moved to another location closed for the day 
      6/18 no permission to enter, and no one was there
      7/2 The customer called stating that the leasing office moved equipment to storage-rescheduled
      7/8 -  equipment was gone. The leasing office states there is no storage site
      7/10- The customer called to reschedule
      7/11  - no equipment 
      7/22 The customer called to reschedule, stating that the leasing office is stating that we need to get it from them, and it is in storage
      7/31 - The collections supervisor spoke to maintenance, who said they believe the customer took the ******************** with them. They do not have storage on site and do not know anything about this equipment
      8/2- The customer called again, stating that ******************** is in the garage
      8/7 - The leasing office once again said there is no storage/garage onsite. 
      10/23  The collections supervisor spoke to **** in the leasing office, who stated she has the equipment still in the apt to ask for her for pick up 
      10/25 - The equipment was picked up. 

      The equipment has been removed from the account. ********************************************* did, in fact, attempt several times to gain access to the equipment during the months of May-August with no success. The customer would need call the office to dispute the charges since they are responsible for the lease until the equipment is returned to Appliance Warehouse.

      Good afternoon, ****, 

      Thank you for contacting CSC ServiceWorks and informing us of your customer concerns. We are committed to providing the best service possible, and sounds like we have missed the **** with your experience. 

      Upon reviewing the account, we can confirm CSC is meeting the service contract agreement by having an average response time of 2 days to complete all service calls placed on the account.

      We can also confirm that the technician attempted to come out to service the equipment multiple times between 9/10/2024 and 9/30/2024 but was unable to gain entry into the facility. On 10/1/2024, the technician was able to gain access and repair the machines submitted to the service request. He also had a coin collector come out and empty the machines.

      If you are currently having issues, please describe the problems and the machine ID numbers.
