      On Aug. 27th 2024 I started the process of getting a Reverse Mortgage from ***** ******, a business doing business as " Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC " from Helena *** , ********************. I provided all the info they requested , even saying that I made her job so easy by having all the paperwork needed. I have been dealing with **** ******, She signs off as Loan Officer NMLS#*******. Today Dec 27th will be the 123 day I have been waiting to get this ** done !!That is over ( Four) months !! This is totally unacceptable as the avg. time to get a ** is listed as 40 days.There was a 28 day period from Nov. 14th to Dec. 12th where I received one (1) email from **** . No matter what I sent to her , I got nothing for almost a month . The Appraisal was done on Friday , Oct. 11th 2024. I received the appraisal on Oct. 21st 2024. I completed the mandatory HUD counseling on Sept. 16th 2024. I payed by Cedit card , $199.00 for this counseling I have done all I can to get this company to proceed to giving me the ** I have wanted now for over four months. This is the most unprofessional run company I have ever dealt with in my 74 years . ***** will say , I will call you right back and Never Has !. I had to have the water from a new spring tested ?? It is gravity flow to my house . And that spring had to be released by the appraiser because when he was here I had not yet got it done . he came out and released it as done . There is always something that holds things up and in the meantime the business I owe money to are not likeingnot being paid ! The whole reason for the ** was that I can not live on $ ****** Social security . I have waited over four months before I had to file this complaint because I need this done before I have no credit at all !! Very poorly run business . After I was with them for awhile I checked tosee what the response was to how people reviewed this company . One review and it was from **** who is ******* significant other !! One review.

      I am the executor for a friends estate in ME. Two mortgages are part of the estate; one of them is under a reverse mortgage with Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC. In the original loan paperwork, it states that the reverse mortgage company may begin foreclosure on the property if the company is not notified of the death of the borrower within a month of the date of death. I have tried calling three phone numbers: 1 listed on the loan pprwk, and 2 that are listed on a company website. None of the numbers may be completed as dialed / are working numbers. Yesterday I sent an overnight delivery of a copy of the borrowers death certificate to the posted address in ********** ** and received an exception notice from *** this morning, stating that the receiver has moved. I have, in good faith, tried contacting this company multiple times to notify them within their stated deadline of the borrowers death and do not want them to begin foreclosure because I have not made contact within 30 days. The borrowers date of death was 12/17/23. There is less than a week left to contact this company. I will continue to try to find contact information online, but in the meantime I want to register a complaint so it is clear that I have been trying to comply with the terms of the mortgage.
