      In February of 2024 I contracted with ************** for purchase and installation of new entry doors. They recommended JELD-WEN for the style and quality of doors I wanted.We ordered the doors; it took several weeks to arrive. Upon arrival installation was scheduled in late May 2024 and completed. Initially, we were very pleased. However, in August 2024 we noticed finish peeling from around the lite trim, exposing white unfinished spots. I immediately reached out to our ********** **** who in turn opened a case with JELD-WEN customer service. Initially we were informed that a technician would come and ***air. Later we were informed that they would send out to me a 3 step paint kit and I was to refinish. I was instructed to make my own warranty ***air. I informed them I was not qualified to do so. Nonetheless, JEL-WEN *** insisted that was the only way. After dozens of phone calls and speaking with a ********** VP, JELD-WEN sent out a ***resentative who immediately determined the door slabs needed ***lacing to make it ******** October 2024 the replacement slabs arrived. I went to store to inspect as per ********** policy. The doors arrived damaged and had to be re-ordered. Obviously, this was extremely frustrating. Again, new slabs were ordered. They arrived March 2025 and install was scheduled for today, March 25, 2025. The installers arrived at 8 am, removed the old doors and began to install the new ones. However, JELD-WEN sent two left hand doors. We had to have the old ones re-installed, and now we are going to have to want on 2 more. I am now awaiting my 4th set of doors. I have been dealing with this for a solid year now and as of this writing I have no idea as to when I will receive the doors and when they will be installed. ***** the CEO - all correspondence ignored. No response by company.I assure you I have all the emails and correspondence to support my claims.

      In May 2024 **** Spylo an employee of JELD-WEN windows came to my house to give me a quote on replacing all the windows in my house. He took measurements and sent me a quote for 28, ****** plus taxes.He said he needed half down to produce the windows. I sent him ******.He never placed the order for the windows when I contacted Jeld-wen in November about the issues and trying to get my money back they said he was not working for them Effective in August. Since that time I have contacted Jeld-wen for help getting the money back and they simply say it is not there problem. I had even looked up this employee he was a regional sales manager.

      I am rejecting this response because: i have contacted the **** They will not pursue the matter as they said it should be a civil case. I think that Jeld-wen should be somewhat responsible of conduct of their managers and be accountable when they represent them. I am shocked that a business this size would not put in any effort to help what could have been a customer. Why should I have to put out more money to get a lawyer to get my money back.

      I am rejecting this response because: i can appreciate that Jeld-wen is taking action against the former employee, but it still does not solve the fact that I am out the money and time that was spent on this, he was a representative of JELD-WEN at the time and acting on their behalf.

      We purchased $116,00.00 of Jeld-Wen Impact Wood Cladded Windows and Doors in July of ********************************* *******. We had install start in February 2024, and completed in March 2024. From that March 2024 we have had nothing but problems with both product lines and have been waiting for an entire year for Jeld-Wen to correct them and hold their product accountable. We have placed construction on hold and have had multiple project delays due to this. I have 3 openings in the house with no windows or door still.Since the beginning (1) window was never installed due to a faulty casement arm. We have been boarded up with plywood for one year waiting on a casement arm. Warranty **** came out and made a list in July 2024. We had 3 doors that were also to be replaced due to poor manufacturing, exposed insulating beads between the glass, swelling/warping, that are still waiting to be replaced. Several other doors continue to swell or warp and not close properly.Several windows leak in bottom right-hand corners. Window panels are separating from outside. Windowsill parts are still broken/missing. (1) known faulty door and (1) window blew off at the frame during hurricane ****** in October 2024 because they cannot be secured tightly. This was the only structural damage sustained. All causing delays for installation of kitchen cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, and trim.Multiple target dates for warranty parts arriving and service were given since last October of 2024, but no deliverance. No one from warranty will come out and just inspect and fix what they say they supposedly have in the warehouse.July 2024 first warranty meeting. October 2024 second meeting. January 2025 parts sent out. Multiple dates given in **************** 2025 but are just getting the run around with no results. Jeld-Wen says they are committed to the highest standards of ethics, integrity and transparency...responsible in reporting and accountable for actions. Not in my case

      I am rejecting this response because:  The situation has still not been resolved. Jeld-wen has made several attempts at ordering parts or saying parts are coming in, only to order wrong sides, swings, etc.  Communication has been better since reporting to the BBB and moving to specialty claims; but no items to date have been fixed.  Since I have been waiting a year, I would like to wait to close case.  Please keep case open until replacement and repairs have been completed satisfactorily.

      I am rejecting this response because: There can be no satisfied response until the first service appointment is held, parts installed and work completed.  Simply put, Jeld-wen has provided several dates to us in the past and has even sent warranty crews out, but yet nothing has been actually completed and fixed.  The last warranty date of 4/3/25 was just that - the parts were wrong and no work could be completed, yet 2 crews showed up at the house.  While I will say the handling of the complaints, the communication level and willingness to rectify the problems with us has dramatically improved under the **************************** I cannot say in all fairness that I am satisfied until the actual work is completed, and the complaints have been rectified.

      On 02/12/25 I went to Lowes store number 0719 located in ********** ******** about the issues I was having with my Door. I talked to ***** ***** . showed him the pictures of what was wrong with my door. He put my pictures and documents into a email after a phone call with MMI DOOR. I was told the company would be contacting me. after several phone calls to MMI DOOR I was given a point of contact **** AT EXT 2158 ************) LEAVING several messages and emails at **************** with no respones.

      I purchased 5 specialty windows from Menards but when I installed them I encountered multiple issues condensation, freezing, wind coming in, and bug coming in through the windows. I have spoken to the company to get assistance and they have offered no help and say there&#**;s no issue with the windows. I have provided multiple photos showing the moisture and frosting and they still refuse to accept responsibility for a faulty product.

      *On 3.3.25 we received a phone call from a lady from JELD-WEN, first name ******, and gave us an email where  we can send photos of the windows.  The email did not work.

      * 3.12.25 The lady called again and stated that their email does not work.  She asked us to give her our email. We gave her our daughter's email.  Even though she told us she will email us right away, No message was received.

      * 3.17.25 The lady called again and gave us her personal email and said that on 3.24.25 at 10:00a.m. Some kind of window specialists will visit our home.  Our daughter sent photos of the windows to the personal email provided.  We have no idea if they got the email because we didn't get any response. 

      It is Friday and we are not even sure if anyone is truly coming on Monday.

      Bought jeldwen patio door with complete slab to 2020. Open arrival doors were scratched and due to the unique paint and covid jeldwen was unable to send technican out and ended replacing complete slab in 2021. Since the replacement I have had numerous problems that have been reported everything from gaps at the door line leaking to not properly closing. Every time I have reported an issue I was told it was an installer issue not once JELD-WEN ever offered to send a technician to even evaluate the problems. I could never understand why they kept telling me installers issue since it was complete slab and all the problems where within the frame not outside of it. Finally, after my door is starting to fall apart I decided enough is enough and coupled with I had seen Jeldwen service vans recently I decided to reach out again. Finally, they put me in touch with a virtual technician and was able to discuss ALL my issues. The virtual technician was able determined the issue and was told someone from Jeldwen would be contacting me. I did ask if it was an install issue and was told, "NO." Jeldwen never calls just sends emails that are often overlooked because they go to spam . I called customer service regarding the claim and they resent me the email indicating they are replacing everything within the frame except I'm responsible for picking up the doors, installing them and disposing old ones because I'm outside the labor warranty. I have sent several emails along with several conversations regarding the same issues since 2021. It's only now Jeldwen has realized it's a manufacturer problem and that's only because of the virtual technican assessment ( a which was a service never offered to me before.) When speaking to the customer service I asked to speak to a supervisor regarding the install and was told that they're are no supervisors to speak to which is why I'm contacting the BBB. I'm a 50 yrs single woman in remission from cancer.

      I paid Jeld-Wen $20,000 for Wind/Impact resistant windows. 8 windows are failing. Warranty claims Lifetime warranty. Jeld-Wen has not in good faith satisfied any portion of repairs. Most Customer support phone numbers don't work. No one calls back. If Jeld-Wen cannot timely find and install the correct mechanical parts then they must replace the entire original wind resistant window at their expense.2 issues with Jeld-Wen Windows warranty service.1st, they aren't rectifying the problems in a timely fashion, which they acknowledged are covered by warranty. Jeld-Wen was informed of the defective windows September 10, 2024. I was told multiple times that the parts were in. Jeld-Wen now says the parts available March 7, 2025 ? 6 months is an obscene amount of time to wait for balance bars to be replaced. Due to my other schedules, this job will not be able to be performed between March 23 and June 15, 2025. Jeld-Wen has had plenty of time to complete this job prior to my other obligations. Second, I was informed on September 10, 2024, again on October 30, 2024, and finally on November 22, 2024, that all defective windows, which were labeled by the Tech on Novenber22, 2024, are covered and would be replaced along with all needed mechanical repairs. On November 24, 2024, Jeld-Wen decided to renege on the agreement to replace all seven (8) defective windows. The Technician did replace 2 defective windows, but, the Technician didnt have any other windows or parts with him for the job with the reason the wrong windows and parts had been provided for the job. He agreed the windows will be replaced. To date, only two (2) have been changed and one mechanical repaired. Thats it. Nothing. Jeld-Wen owes me replacements. Special Note: I was informed that Jeld-Wen knew of ***************** Flaws of these Wind/Impact Windows and has since redesigned them. Was it that the windows were simply failing and replacing them became a liability?

      Jeldwen sold me pre-finished doors + windows that arrived poorly primed/primed and not finished. When asked to help finish paint the windows, JeldWen has responded with a can of paint and a small labor budget that will not cover the work needed to properly finish these window/door units. We feel like we sold and inferior product, horrible quality and the JeldWen has left us with no good option to remedy.

      I purchased a brand new town home in Oct 2003. The windows windows and patio doors are defective Jeld Wen products. The windows have failed over the past year with the following issues:The window frames are cracked in some areas of the house There are windows that have discolored There is some odd reddish orange mold in some of the windows along the bottom area The patio door frames also have cracks The windows and patio doors are pulling away from the frame that is part of the drywall The windows resin is warp in some place allowing moisture in between the double panes Very disappointed it took so long to figure who manufactured these windows .My neighbors have the same issue.

      We are building our own home in *********. Windows went in winter of 2024, and immediately we noticed several issues with our Jeld-wen windows. We went to the store they were purchased from and were told we needed to contact the manufacturer directly. We have been back and forth with this company for nearly 10 months with no real solution. We have had techs come out to the house and tell us there is nothing they can do for our defective windows and another online tech tell us that is just how our windows are made. They refuse to acknowledge that their product is defective and are knowingly selling these windows to future customers. Our screens do not fit the windows so we are unable to have our windows open during the months of May-October because the bugs are so horrendous. The flies also come in through the screens on the shut windows and are able to make it inside of our house. We had hundreds of flies in our house every day this fall. Now that its winter, the windows are all iced over and frozen shut. I will also be contacting the store who sold us the windows to make sure they are aware. When customers are spending tens of thousands of dollars on windows, I would sure hope that a company could stand behind their product and if there is a problem, be willing to solve it.

      Jeldwen is saying that they need to set up another in home visit because there was missing information in their files. Ive already had a home visit. He told me there was nothing they could do but he would talk to his supervisor and I would hear from someone in a few days. I never heard from anyone. Ive had multiple virtual visits and nothing ever comes from it. I never hear back from them. There is never a solution. This is their way of delaying and trying to wear me down. They continue to suggest another visit. Another virtual call. And nothing ever results. Its a waste of everyones time and Im done. I agreed to the visit; yes. But it is definitely not a solution.

They continue to say they need more information and deny any responsibility even thought we have been back and forth for almost a year with them. They continue to say we need more virtual appointments or techs at the house. After the appointment we never heard from them again. Its their way to try and wear us down.

      Im writing to inform you that my complaint has not been resolved with the company. You closed our case because the company was working to resolve our issue by sending a tech to our house even though they have done this before and then I dont hear from them again. Well, they sent the tech over two week ago and when I emailed because I hadnt heard from them, they said they would email me before the end of the week. This was on 3/4/25 and I have yet to hear from them. I would like our case to be re-opened and for Jeldwen to be contacted again.
