Fake business. Check yelp more extensive research on nightmare experiences from would be customers. They provide no service and depend on people to trust them. They execute nothing and fix nothing. First they offer a minimal potential quote, second they require a higher amount to service. They actually do nothing and you end up back where you started. There is no clean room, office ir legit technicians. This business is a scam.

I contacted ********** Recovery in a great trouble of my important data loss. After sending my laptop, all commitments were changed without realization of time and promises. Scanned my laptop until five days, then asked for a $1200- up front money for unsure data recovery and they were unable to share the files to be recovered also.Very poor performance.

For the record: I am a normal person who has a masters degree - Please beware. There is no way Fields should have this high of a rating. I should be a 2.5-3 star. I sent my hard drive in for data recovery. They advertise a 95% success rate which is highly inflated. They tell that you have a 75%-95% of getting some data recovered, say they will give you a list of files they can recover before paying, but manipulate you to pay up front over the phone with your credit card. In any case, after paying over $1250 for an unsuccessful data recovery. I've made several phone calls to adjust the final price due to zero recovery. They changed my contact to the customer service guy who yells back at you (unprofessional) and doesn't call you back or does what he promises. They brag about all the extra parts they have in stock, but they claimed they had to order basic parts to work on an older model hard drive. There was no break down of parts and labor just a email showing a charge (Shady). Most businesses would charge for parts and basic time but they told me full price not matter what. Bad Business/crooks!! Your first contact guy which i would say who, but this platform blocks names, aggressively courts your business, but once you've paid, customer service really drops off and your ignored. Please use a small business computer repair shop locally. This is a corporate sham. Money not people.

Took the drive to Fields. In a few days they contacted me, told me how much info was recovered and said they would send a usb drive to me. Received the drive all of the data I needed was recovered. It was quick and easy thanks to everyone at Fields.

No way Fields should have this high of a rating. I sent my MacBook Pro in for data recovery. They advertise a 95% success rate, but it seems to be considerably lower for "off chip" recovery. (I couldn't get specific data from them regarding Macs.)In any case, after paying nearly $2500 for an unsuccessful data recovery, it's been pulling teeth to get my device back from them. I was told it would ship out last Thursday. It still hasn't. I've made several phone calls, sent several emails, ************ aggressively courts your business, but once you've paid, customer service really drops off.
