Horrible customer service. Fees for everything. Rude service. Techs were friendly and helpful but tanks leaked multiple times. We had so many issues with our service hard to mention all of them. They left us multiple times without propane after their tanks leaked and charged us for picking up their tanks when cancelling our service and did not disclose this before picking them up. Do not get service with Ferralgas.

I am a 20 year Ferrell Gas customer. We are out of gas right now. We put orders in through the phone system and the online system this past Friday, 2/28/25. On Monday, 3/3/25, I called and the customer Service rep told me those did not go through. I then put the order in through your customer service department and was told I would be called back with the expected delivery time. I didn't hear anything, so I contacted customer service again today, 3/4/25 to check on the order. They said the order was in and would be here on or before 3/12/25. That is 10 days from the initial contact and what I would deem as unacceptable delay for a baseline utility service used to keep our homes warm, our stoves available, and warm water needed to survive in the winter. We ran out of gas during the month of February. During that month I was in another city setting my 93 year old monther up to come here and live. Now that she is here, I cannot provide the necessary utilities or environment for her to live in my home. We need gas as soon as possible. My home gets very cold, and my pipies could freeze in the interim. There has to be some way to escalate the delivery. I have only requested this once in the past 20 years. Over those 20 years I have paid close to $40,000 for propane service, tank rental, etc. My payments are always prompt and for the full amount. I hope that my loyalty with doing what is right in our vendor/customer arrangement will get the same in return. Thanks for understanding. If someone could call me and work on a solution that would be appreciated.

If I could give zero stars I would. We bought this house in August and inherited the Ferrell Gas account as their tank is on our property. We paid to fill the tank over $2300 on Jan 15th and they said Feb 18th was the earliest they could deliver. Our tank was showing 15% on the rusted gauge. Come Feb 18th no call/no show by Ferrell Gas. I call them at 4:00pm asking about it and they said the driver noted the gravel driveway had snow on it and therefore they weren’t allowed to deliver it. It would have to be totally dry. Our location is rural… aren’t those the consumers that utilize propane for heat? Otherwise I wouldn’t need them. So now they’re supposed to come the fourth, although we ran out of gas on Feb. 20th. I called to ensure they could come in the morning since rain is expected in the afternoon and apparently their customer service has no way of contacting the drivers or a manager or supervisor of any sort, but can put me in for a call back in 24-48 hrs!If it doesn’t get delivered tomorrow their tank will be off my property

We ordered and paid for our propane on the 8th of February, we just received it today, the 24th of February. We've been heating our 1st floor with space heaters. Totally unsatisfied.

This company has horrible customer service, they can never give you an accurate delivery time for your gas refill, they change your gas refill date even in emergency situations. No one ever calls you back after they say they will. We had a gas leak and ran out of gas and now have been without gas for heat and cooking for four days and they say it's going to be up to a month. I have 3 children in my home and no one there will help me.

My order for Propane gas from Ferrell Gas was placed on 1/29/2025 It is now 2/17/2025. Ferrell Gas promised delivery by 2/12/2025. Received an email on 2/11/2025 delaying us 3 more days. I have place several phone calls to customer service & every phone call I received the program answer by the representative, I have asked to speak to the scheduling department and a supervisor and the representative says they will put the information into the system to receive a call back, this gas never happened. My propane tank is empty, my husband had Throat Cancer Surgery on 2/5/2025 and I have been maintaining a fire in our fireplace to keep our house heated and taking care of my Husband 24/7. Ferrell Gas is aware of all this. I’m not sure when customer service went out the door with Ferrell Gas, with no local customer service because everyone customer service rep has been from another state. Ferrell Gas customer rep cannot even tell us if we own our tank, because if we own our tank, I would be able to have it filled by another Propane Company, but have to prove that we own our tank. I do not pay a leasing fee to Ferrell Gas, but they say it’s their tank even though there is nothing on the tank that says it is theirs. Ferrell Gas has us between a rock and a hard place because they would need come out to look at the tank to see if it is theirs or ours. We can’t even get you to come out to fill our tank. My advice to anyone looking for a Propane Company look one that has local customer service and know if you own your tank. We have been with Ferrell Gas for 18 years & this is the worst Customer Service I have ever seen. Being a customer service rep myself for the last 30 years I would be appalled to be associated with Ferrell Gas. We will be changing Propane Companies as soon as possible, but for now we are still waiting for the Propane delivery we were promised. A Very disappointed Long Time Customer! Ferrell Gas doesn’t even deserve 1 star. A negative rating isn’t even ample.

They harass me every time I call to place an order to the point I have anxiety about even calling. The gas delivery guys told me to call when I was at 50%, but the phone lines are ran by people in some other location who refuse to place an order for anything if you're over 20%. I can't afford propane if I wait that long! Then they tell me I should be okay to wait to order until I got paid, and I ran out! So they made me pay $100 and a penalty. They took two days to come out in FEBRUARY when it was 12 degrees outside. So I had no heat. Then the guy came out and he didn't light the pilot light on our water heater. Instead he said "Well 1 out of 2 is better than nothing". Even though the phone center said they had to make sure that they were both working. He didn't even want to do it to begin with. Then when I asked him he didn't even know what he was doing. I had to light it myself, so if my house burns down I know who to blame. As the Ferrell Gas customer service line said this was their responsibility. Absolutely laughable. If my house hadn't of came with a Ferrell Gas tank when I bought it, I would have dumped them 4 years ago.

This is a horrible company that should be out of business. They currently have dozens of 1-star reviews on Google. My family ran out of propane almost three weeks ago and emphasized the dire need to get services soon, as we would be without heat and hot water. The company assured us that they did not have a rush delivery list, but we would get bumped up, considering how low our propane levels are. We have small children and an elderly person in our home. We have called every morning to confirm delivery dates. Fast forward 3 weeks later, this morning is the actual date they confirmed for us. They have now thrown us off and stated that they extended the date 3 more days out for deleievery. If we did not call them this morning- we would have never known. Nothing was communicated via mail, email, or phone. This is illegal and inhumane!

Absolutely the worst propane company I've ever dealt with. My tank has been empty for two weeks and I just got a call this morning that it will be another 3 business days! No heat in the middle of winter. Can't call the local distributer because Ferrellgas has blocked their number and all calls have to go to their clueless national customer service department. Told someone will call back within two days! Gee what's the rush? Doesn't matter cause no one calls. Even if you reach a supervisor they're as clueless as the first tier. I didn't think anyone could be worse than Amerigas but Ferrellgas takes the prize for incompetance. We need to get rid of these big companies and go back to small businesses that believe in customer service.
