On 6/6/23 I dropped off 16lb of wool in person at Edwards Woolworks, and left a deposit of $80 for processing raw wool into yarn. In August of ’23 I was contacted and advised my order had been started, and sent an invoice for $539.88 for the balance of processing, which I paid immediately. In October, **** contacted me to confirm the names on my fleeces, because her dog supposedly tore up my paperwork. Shortly after that I was told my fleeces were #4 in line for spinning. In January ’24 I was told they were backlogged due to illness & would be caught up in 2 months. In March I was told just a few more days. In May I expressed my concern that my order was lost, and was assured it was not, and given more stories of hardship. In June they went so far as to send me tracking information & told me my order would go out the next day. UPS never received the package. In July I requested a refund or return of my wool in whatever stage of processing it may be in, and advised I would be contacting small claims court otherwise. August 11, 2024 I was told my order was shipped that day. As of August 31 2024, I still have not gotten my processed fiber, with no replies from Edwards Woolworks/ Lost Coast Spinnery through text, email or ******** **********

    Business Response

    Date: 10/07/2024

This woman filed a complaint (and once again failed to read and acknowledge the TOS). I get a letter today telling me to respond right away and when I use the code it tells me there is nothing further to do. I'm done with this drama. I ship nearly 100 pounds a week of finished yarn. I've had god knows how many of them not pay their bill/balance leaving me with thousands in outstanding invoices. She got her yarn! She texted me thanking me for it (and I'm MORE than happy to provide the screen shot of that).
Here's her tracking number. ************************** and a picture of her yarn before the box was sealed. it was delivered to her on Sept 25
