    i called this handy man to widen my shed door , he didn't even come to look at the shed , take measurements , and just look over the job . he ask me to send him pictures , so i did , that should have raised a red flag , i ask him for a 60 in door , he sent me an estimate for 1191.08 to do the job. he said he needed 850.00 for materials , so i sent it to him via cashapp , the day he was supposed to come do the job , he was late , so i started calling , with no response , ,i tried ,texting , emailing still no response , i ask my son what i should do he said to request a refund(cashapp) , which i did , then not more then a few hours later cashapp denied my request , they said i authorized the payment . he finally texted me about 530 aug 1st to say he was in jury duty , i understood that and he said he has my door and he was going to install it. when he showed up he didn't have the right size door i wanted . i told him it was not the right size , he packed his stuff and said he would look for the right size door and keep me informed , thats the last i have heard from him he has blocked my number. i have texted him, emailed several times with no response, for a second time i have requested a refund through cashapp , dont know if it will do any good , from the other complaints i have read he has done this before , he is a scammer do not hire this man , his business is need a stud handyman services

    I had *** from Need a Stud Handyman 316-816-3788 ******************** come out to my house in ******* *** ** *** ****** *** to take a look and get an estimate on work I wanted done to my house. We went over the work, agreed on a $1500 estimate and that he would send the contract over by email. According to the contract I e-signed on Feb. 20th he required half upfront to get materials and began work. I gave him half $750 cash later that afternoon, received a receipt for the transaction and he told me he would be out the next day to begin. To this day I have yet to get ahold of him. I text and call everyday with no reply. Emailed multiple times with no reply. He has yet to produce any materials or labor for the job at all. Nothing at all has been done according to contract and I have pictures and documents supporting that fact. It appears that he just took the money and never intended to do the job. As I said I have yet to hear from him at all and it's been over 30 days. This is unacceptable. At this point I can't even trust him to do the job in a timely manner or if at all. I would like a refund of $750 he took.
