      I highly recommend anyone planning on seeking an online education from this institution to do their homework before committing to any program. I recently withdrew from a Transition to Teaching program at this university. The program did not deliver on its obligation to place students in a classroom setting for observations because someone did not do their job in the placement office. I spoke to my professor, who was also a chair in the program, and he told me to watch 10 hours of ******* videos to fulfill the classroom observation requirement. The bad thing about ******* videos is that you cannot interact with the teachers or students. This interaction was unprofessional, especially when the professor did not call me by my correct name. I did what he told me to do and looked for classroom observations on ******* without any help from my instructor. To top off the insult, I was contacted before my next class that the placement office did not have classroom placement paperwork, and I needed to do the paperwork. They originally said they had the paperwork I initially sent, but now they say they did not have my paperwork at all. I never received a formal apology or was offered a refund because they failed to supply me with the promised education. I lost a few thousand dollars because of their incompetence. I have sent a grievance and spoken to two university reps but have not heard back. I expect they will sweep this situation under the table. So, again, do your research before applying to Indiana Wesleyan University Online. It might save you from losing money. I wish I would have.
