      ON 4-29-22 I TOOK MY TRUCK IN FOR A LOF. I TOLD THEM AT THE TIME THAT MY GARAGE REEKED OF GAS WHEN I ENTERED, AND TO CHECK TO SE IF THEY COULD FIND ANYTHING. I SAID IT APPEARED TO BE REDISH IN COLOR AND SMELLED LIKE GAS. NOTHING WAS REPORTED. ON 5-03-22 I HAD MY TRUCK IN FOR REMOVEAL AND REPLACEMENT OF A REAR SPRING SHACKLE. AGAIN, I TOLD THEM OF THE REEKING GARAGE AND SEEING LEAKING FLUID FROM UNDER THE TRUCK. AGAIN, NOTHING WAS FOUND. ON 09-05-22 I STOPPED AT ****** AUTO, THEY WERE GETTING READY TO OPEN THE NEXT DAY. THEY TOOK IN MY TRUCK AND IMMEDIATELY FOUND THE FUEL LEAK. THEY WERE NOT WANTING ME TO DRIVE IT HOME AS THEY SAID IT WAS DANGEROUS TO DO SO. BUT I HAD TO, BUT I WENT BACK FIRST THING IN THE MORNING THE TECH SAID IT WAS VERY OBVIOUS THAT IT WAS LEAKING. THEY HAD TO ORDER A SPECIAL KIT TO REPLACE THE LINE. THE COST TO ME WAS $794.50 PLUS ALL THE GAS I LOST. NOT ONLY DID THIS BUSINESS PUT ME IN HARMS WAY, BUT THEY ALSO RISKED MY PROPERTY, GARAGE AND HOME. THEY ALSO RISKED THE LIVES OF ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE WALKED UP TO MY TRUCK WHILE IT WAS PARKED, AS THE SMELL OF GAS FUMES WERE ALARMING OUTSIDE OF MY TRUCK. I AM ASKING FOR A REFUND OF THE $794.50 PLUS THE ESTIMATED 15 GALLONS OF GAS I LOST. ($60.00) 15GAL. X $4.00. I AM ALSO WONDERING IF I SHOULD TAKE THEM TO COURT, BUT I'M NOT SURE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH THAT. I AM NOT ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO UPLOAD YOU MY DOCUMENTS, BUT I WILL MAKE COPIES AND SEND THEM TO YOU. I ALSO COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO PRINT UP THE FORM TO MAIL.       *****, I appreciate you taking the time to let us know of your concerns. I apologize that we were unable to locate your fuel leak. As you can see from the invoices that you submitted(Invoice Number *******, *******) we never charged you an inspection or diagnostic fee for looking for the fuel leak. We only charged you for the work that was performed during your visit. We did not cause your fuel leak, we did not charge for the inspection, nor did we perform the repair. We do not believe we are responsible for the expense of the repair and will not be issuing payment at this time. Thank you.
