My car wouldnt start with the key so I took my car to J and A ************* and left it with the owner. So the owner called and said it was my steering column and when he fix it I would never have the problem again. He called me and said it was fix but it still wont start with the key so Im wondering how is it fixed if thats the problem that I came in for and he said that I was missing fuses and a relay fuse so he told me to come to the shop so he can show me and I did and I told him I had my vehicle for going on three years and them fuses and relay fuse was never in the fuse box so he kept telling me that I needed them and he replaced the ones that was missing but I have to replace the relay fuses myself and that he guarantee when I put the relay fuses in I would be able to start it with my key. So the owner had his workers to show me how to start my car without my key. I was on my way to Auto Zone to buy the relay fuses and my car was acting like it wanted to shut off on me and a lot of stuff was popping up on the dashboard and a smell was coming through the vents so I pulled over and opened the hood to make sure it wasnt on fire and it wasnt but the smell was still under the hood and coming through the vents so I tried calling the owner but he didnt answer so I got back in the car and made it to my destination. I turned my car off and tried to start it back up and it wouldnt. This is all the times I tried calling the owner and the owners technician they wouldnt answer for me but when I called from another number the owner answered once He told me he was going to send his technician out and wanted me to send the address to where my car was two hours later the technician still wasnt here and he didnt call to tell me when the technician would make it so two more hours go by and thats when the technician should up and he couldnt get it to start

Customer called about Mercedez C-class having trouble turning on. We asked if there was anything done to the vehicle. He mentioned how he was able to start it by bypassing it that he saw from a ******* video. We diagnosed the issue in the vehicle that could possible be related to the key since we specialize in anything that is related to ignitions, keys, remotes, and steering columns only. We mentioned to him that one of the problems was that the steering module was damaged because of the vehicle steering wheel was able to be moved when there is no key in the ignition. The steering lock module is what causes your steering wheel to move when the key is the ignition and to lock when its out of the ignition. As a security feature you cannot turn on your vehicle if the car will not detect if the car keys are in the ignition because of the module malfunction. We let the customer know that the replacement and programming not the module would cost him $700. He then agreed and we proceeded to replace and program the part. The vehicle steering lock started working after the part was replaced. We called the customer to let him know that it was still not turning on the vehicle properly. We went out of our way and let the customer know we would check the vehicle for mechanical issues that could possibly be causing a problem. For example we checked possible lose cables for the battery or the electrical wiring to be damaged. Turns out a relay that was in the vehicle wasnt making contact and also had missing relays . We called the customer to let him know about the issues. He then mentioned that from the video he saw on ******* of how he was able to bypass the car was from messing with the vehicle relays . We offered to look for the oem relays and replace what was missing for a fee but customer declined and said he would look for the relay since our original parts we would get were not at his financial reach. Customer then came into the shop after to pick up his vehicle and paid for the service that was done. He called us a few days later to mention that he had replaced the parts but couldnt get the car started. We went out to the vehicle to check it but when we got theyre it looked to have a short in the circuit and no communication to the vehicle. We couldnt do anything since we are not specialized in electrical wiring in the vehicle. We recommended to take it to an electrical mechanic. What the customer paid for was a steering module service. It was replaced and programmed and that is what the customer paid for.
